JIS College of Engineering

I chose this course because there are higher oppurtunities for career growth , higher packages are provided during placement,guidance from the staff and mentor helps a lot to understand the process and guide us very well to clear the placement criteria.Faculties of this college are very good.They often provide personal support to grow and shine. We can go to them with any problem and they will help. There is adequate amount of faculties for the number of students.There is average of 20 students per faculty member.Faculty members are very well educated and excellent in their own subjects.Exams are held very timely according to the schedule.

There are many internship oppurtuinities available from the College from the aicte domain. We have done blue prism internship, cloud architecting internship and applied for many government internships. Projects are given after every semester . We have to submit the project to pass the semester.

The placements in our college is very good.Students from 7th semester are eligible for taking placements. The companies visited are Accenture,LTI MindTree, SAP Labs, Accenture,Byju's, British Telecom, Deloitte,Tcs, Wipro, Amazon, Cognizant.The highesh package offerens is 10lpa and the avergae package is 5LPA.almost 90% of the students get places in the placement drive. After I getting a degree I also want to do a job as a software developer.

The fees hike and cost to study in JIS College of Engineering is minimal as compared to the other Engineering colleges. It provides a wide range of oppurtunites for everyone to read and study. various scholarships provided by the college are Oasis scholarship,Aikyashree Scholarship,Swami Vivekananda Scholarship,NSP National Scholarship Portal,kanyashree k2 scholarship,kanyashreek2 scholarship and many more. Scholarship for disabled persons are also available-

JIS tech fest is conducted in the month on june and cultural fest is being conducted in the month of december or januray. Wide range of books and journals are available in the library. All the course related books and even the books to understand beyond our courses are also available.Classrooms are well equipped with all the amenities.good conditioned table chairs, Projector,Blackboars,Cctvs all are provided in the classroom. JIS sports competition are held on a regular basis in every winter. There in blood donation camp,Save environment camp,World plantantion day camp,And many more. Art and literature society , Science club, Drama club, Environment club all are run by the students.

For Btech admission student must score 45% in 10+1 in PCM and qualify for either WBJEE or JEE Main or Ampai.According to this the merit list is prepared for counselling. BBA and BCA admissions are offered on the basis of scores obtaines in 10+2 in relevant compulsory subjects. Admission to the college is based upon counselling. For Mtech admissions students must score 50% in B.E/B.tech degree in the relevant courses.Students must qualify for GATE or PGET,after which merit lists will be prepared and admissions will be offered. applications for admissions are accepted through MAKAUT website online.Students can also apply offline for JIS College of Engineering by obtaining the form from college window.
