Academy for Technical and Management Excellence Mysore, BE/B.Tech

Remarks

On an overall basis, this is a very good college. The major drawback is its location. It is located 14km away from the Mysore city which causes transport problems. Anyway, the college provides bus facility.

Entrance Preview

The entrance test that is to be written to get admission in this college is CET or COMEDK. College also allows seats through management quota. The course I've chosen is BE.

Course Curriculum Overview

This college is affiliated to Belgaum VTU. I have chosen civil engineering in the BE assuming that it is more useful in the constructional construction field. It is much based on worksheets than practical.

Internships Opportunities

There is no internship in this College. The students must themselves look for the jobs where they take in Freshers and start working to gain experience so that they get a higher pay.

Placement Experience

Its placement ratings aren't much good. This is the only drawback for this college in terms of quality academics part. Since its quite a new college they don't have much contact with companies. Scoring above 9 CGPA will automatically place you in 5+ lakh package.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure this college is quite cheaper. Are they then admission fee in the college charges about 40,000 to 50,000 per year. Compare to other colleges of this level the fee is quite high and costlier.

Hostel Facilities

The college has a bad Canteen.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is quite good here. I appreciate their teaching and the dedication level in delivering the subject to students. The labs are very good and well maintained. Lab teachers are youngsters but they do really well.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
