Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members are very hardworking. The course is a little good. But I think the curriculum is very old and it needs to be updated as required for the current generation. So many faculties are available in this college. Every semester contains two examinations. One is mid sem and another is end sem.
Internships Opportunities
There are so many internship opportunities in our college. Microsoft hires many interns and gives about 100,000 per month as a stipend. Samsung also gives about 100,000 per month as a stipend. There are also so many more companies like Atlassian, PWC, etc. which provide internships here.
Placement Experience
Campus placement is very good. The internship starts in the second year. And campus starts from the third year more precisely the fifth semester. This year Microsoft alone has appointed 35 students from our college. The highest package is about 80 lakh for a student who has applied off-campus. On campus, the highest placement is about 55 lakhs. About 90 percent of students get placed in our college every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is actually 62300 per semester. But it reduces to 16300 for SC ST students and students having annual income less than 1 lakh. It is about 38000 per sem for students having less than 500000 and more than 100000. If you fall under any category then you should definitely take benefit of that.
Campus Life
There are so many fests conducted in this college. But there are two very popular among them. Recstacy is the annual fest and Aarohan is the tech fest which is the second largest tech fest of Eastern Region College of India. Library is very good and big. So many books are available in it from different authors. Every classroom is completely air-conditioned and smart boards and a Microphone system are available in each of them.
Hostel Facilities
Each room is in three sharing. Room facilities are good. Each person is provided one almirah one bed one study table chair and a study lamp. But the meal is not up to the mark. It is the problem of every hostel. The hostel is affordable as compared to other areas.
Admission
You have to crack the JEE Mains examination to qualify for this college. If you want CSE then you have to secure your rank within 12000. After clearing the JEE exam you have to sit for JOSSAA counseling to get into the college.
