Remarks
In whole I would like to say that getting admission in this college is all about competition but still it is highly recommended as here one can really explore the new domains of knowledge.
Entrance Preview
First of all I appeared for IIT entrance examination. After clearing it I opted for online counselling session. There I got this college as a choice and hence I landed here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course runs solely according to the IITs. The content remains the same and is very much standard. The college has taken a research initiative in sustainable energy development and still it is under progress.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided by the college in different categories of student interest. The average stipend offered by the companies is upto 5 thousand. I have not done any of the internships till now.
Placement Experience
Without any doubt I can say that placements are there in our college with many major companies over the nation. Last year the placement was around 85% with an average package of 5.7 lacs.
College Events
The college remains too much active in organising events. Last big event we had was SPARDHA which was a 6 day intercollege fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is same as most of the IITs and NITs in the country. We are supposed to pay a sum of 1 lacs 48 thousand rupees every year as our total fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are awarded to the students on various proforma. On basis of performance in academics, sports etc. Also some girl's scholarship is also there.
Campus Life
The college has never kept itself behind in extra curricular activities. Many such events are organised to let students explore themselves.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel accommodation is there and they are far better than outside there. The rooms are good and also the mess food is hygienic.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni from this college are numerous. They prove themselves too productive as they keep on visiting us for interaction sessions.
Exam Structure
Exams are conducted just twice every year. Yes I will say that the assessments too often irritates us.
Faculty
The faculty members are no doubt too good as it is NIT and the appointed professors use to be of distinctive standard obviously. They are very much qualified and experienced too.
