- Collage classes are good They are fully Air conditioned and the classes are digital.
- Campus Life is also good with lots of collage fests and Many Cultural Activities.

Dislikes
- Hostel Infrastructure is not so good because many hostels are very old and not properly maintained.
- Course Schedule sometime become hectic with not proper gaps between the exams.
- The major issue about the collage life is the weather of Durgapur which is very hot and humid.
Course Curriculum Overview
ECE is one of the good branches after CSE because you sit for all companies that come for placements. ECE faculty is good in our college, teachers have good knowledge and are helping. The student ratio is like 8:2 boys: girls. Exams are held at the interval of 2 months and it will be hard if anyone doesn't prepare before the exams, like before 20 days, etc. It will be hard for one to just prepare before the night of the exam. Teachers are highly qualified most of them have done higher studies and research as well.
Internships Opportunities
A month summer internship is offered by many companies like, Microsoft, Wells Fargo, PWC, Sales Force, Texas Instruments, Adobe, De Shaw, and BNY. etc. with a Stipend between 40k-175k per month. You can do a project under any professor in your department in the fourth year and it is compulsory for everyone.
Placement Experience
From 2nd Semester you can apply for Off-campus and from 3rd Semester You are Eligible for the on-campus opportunity for an internship and in the 4th Year you are eligible for placements. Many Comnipaes visits like Microsoft, Wells Fargo, JPMC, BNY, Brane, Salesforce, Texas Instruments, PWC, Cisco, etc. Highest 80 LPA, Average- 10 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is - 85%. To get a good Placement in a good Company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Recently there a rise in the fee structure just a 5% increase and the cost of study will be around 1Lakh per Semester. There are many scholarships available like the government ones, which a student if falling in the category can avail them.
Campus Life
Tech Fest- Aarohan is the tech fest which is held in January or February. Annual Fest-Recstacy is the annual Cultural fest which is held in March. The library of NIT Durgapur has plenty of books and Journals, Which can be accessed by any Student throughout his/her studying tenure. Classrooms are fully AC, With a Digital Blackboard as well as a projector. There are many sports facilities like football, Cricket, Badminton etc. There are many clubs like CCA(Robo Club), RECursion(Coding Club), Cultural Club(Literary Circle), Dance Club, Music Club, etc.
Hostel Facilities
In the room you only get 1 Bed, 1 Study Table and a chair and it Will be a shared room with 2 other Students. Meal Quality is Average and The Menu will contain all types of Indian Food. Hostel Is Affordable with 15k Per Semester Fees.
Admission
I got admission through JEE Mains Which is Conducted every year, After which we have to undergo a counseling process where we have to select a college and give our preference of branch, etc. The application process is simple just fill out the jee mains application form and you must be studying in higher secondary or passed. The cutoff at our time in NIT Durgapur for general is about 92k, And for CSE your rank should be under 13k home state.
