Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is determined by the faculty, as it is an autonomous institute. The ratio of lecturers to students is 1:8. The lecturers are Ph.D. students from renowned institutes such as IITS AND NITS. The exams were held on time and were difficult on average.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies like Amazon, L&T, Tata Power, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and Vedanta that offer both internship and full-time roles for sde, technical trainee, and Assistant manager. The faculty also are highly qualified and help in building projects and Writing a thesis.

Placement Experience

Students from 3rd year and 4th years are eligible for placement and almost 80 percent of the students are placed in tcs, Wipro, Tata Power, etc. The highest package is 47 lakh( Amazon)and 3 internship offers with one PPO.

Fees and Financial Aid

Campus Life

The campus life is good so far for me lush green campus and supportive seniors. The college has one of the largest technical library in Odisha which have a wide variety of books and literature. There are many sports, technical and literary clubs, and societies like enigma robotics IIC and e-cell and others.

Hostel Facilities

I live in the Agastya hostel currently which is a 1yr old hostel but still intact and was renovated recently. Four members per room little bit conjusted as they have three racks and three tables. Hostel registration is done along with the admission registration. There are many pgs nearby with good locality and services.

Hostel Fee: INR 34500 per year

Admission

I appeared for the JEE Main exam conducted by NTA annually. Students can also qualify for admission through the OJEE exam, and the counseling process is conducted through OJEE counseling. There are reserved seats for SC/ST, LE, and female candidates, as well as for students from government schools. However, there are no reservations for OBC candidates. The admission process is conducted monthly.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Buckle up Journey in Vssut

I have applied to only Outr(formerly Cet Bhubaneswar). I have applied on the technical branches, but got none of them as my rank was around 152000. As Cet is not very good for its core branches, so I preferred Vssut over it. To get technical branches in cet bhubaneswar your rank should be under 50000 in Jee mains. The admission process is through the OJEE COUNSELLING. It is the counselling only for the students of odisha and anyone out of Odisha appearing the OJEE examination. The eligibility of our college is 45 percent. The admission process is quite hassle free. As once you got the seat in ojee counselling....Read More

I applied for outr Bhubaneswar and vssut burla. I was getting electrical branches in both the colleges. But in outr there are not enough hostels for student neither the campus is that much attracting. O the other hand vssut have total 11 hostel and can accommodate every student studying and the campus is also somewhat good. But for csit branches there are not enough facilities in vssut To get admission here you have to get a rank in jee main exam and have to go through ojee counselling. To get to cse branch your all India rank must be within 1lakhs and for electrical branch its about 1.5lakhs and for lower branches production rank does not matter that must there are seats pending vacant you can get them via spot counselling...Read More
