Course Curriculum Overview

BE MECHANICAL ENGINEERING I chose this course because there is a scope available in the future for this course Well, the faculty members are all expertise in their respective subjects and are friendly The faculties are qualified minimum of a master's degree in their domain Term exams are held once a month it will be easy to pass with considerable effort

Internships Opportunities

Mac bro, Hyundai, TCS, CTS and there are more companies that give students the internship opportunities and they provide stipend upto 10,000 - 15,000 Every student are given a chance to do a project And it is mandatory for every student

Placement Experience

The students are eligible for placements after the fifth semester Hyundai, Sanmar, L&T The Percentage of students getting placed is above 80% My plan is to get placed in a well-reputed company after getting the degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study the course that I have joined will be around 100,000 (Rs.1 lakh) per year. The scholarships that are provided in the KONGU engineering college are like MBC, BC, SC, OC and many others, There are internship programmes which will provide a stipend of 10-15k per month

Campus Life

The annual day may be conducted during the time of January. And there are some cultural festivals like ENTHUSIA and SWARAM where celebrities will be present and the event will take place for whole two days. It has a nice infrastructure. And the importance of sports are very nice. There are many clubs like music club, Rotaract club, English club, maths club, and also some entertainment clubs are available.

Eligibility is 12th pass We can find the application form on the college website kongu.ac.in The admission process has no problems. Application fees may be around Rs 1500 - Rs 3000 Application dates can be seen on the college website

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.
