College is one of the best of the country. You can know from this if it is a good or bad. However, the bad part is all classrooms not have air conditioning facilities and they should renovate the classrooms.

The admission was just on the basis of marks scored in class 12 examinations. You need not to give any entrace examination for bcom. This is one of the best colleges in the country so it was always a target for me and i achieved it.

The course is good. The college is a prestigious one. The faculty members are very kind and humble. They help you with your studies . Everytime available to clarify your doubts. The new syllabus of cbcs is quite tough as compared to the previous syllabus. However the teaching is very nice and you can learn a lot for your life not only for your education.

Yes the college provides internships from the 2nd year. The stipend is quite good. But only if you are worthy enough. You have to grab every opportunities and earn it. There are several seminars on hot topics of present scenario. Top advisors and important or well knowned personalities come and assist you fir your future.

Placement and job opportunities are the best according to me in kolkata. You get jobs in well renowned companies like kotak etc. It is the best college in the city. Just close your eyes and have faith on it. It will change your future. The packages are also good. I know a senior personally who gets a salary around ₹20000 per month just after completing bcom.

The most famous event is Xavotsav. Famous personalities come in this event. I just loved the previous xavotsav event it was amazing. Shirley setia along with dj sevenn and dj girish were the main attractions of the event. It is done once a year and except this many other events takes place throughout the year in the college.

Fee is manageable and not too much. The college also provides scholarships but only if you are in need and you are worthy of it. So you need to earn it. It can be easily managed by the middle class families. So you can have an idea of it. It is not so expensive that you cannot bear it.

The college doesnot provide any loan facilities. However scholarships are being provided to some students on the basis of their performance and needs.

The bcom morning is full of boys. You see no female except the faculty members. However the bcom evening is both boys and girls but the girls to boys ratio is quite high . The evening cutoff also remains slightly higher than the morning one. No partiality or favourableism is being done in the college.

Hostel facilities are nice. However my friends complain about the hostel food. The canteen food is healthy and hygenic. It is very cheap and affordable. Many students does their breakfast in the college canteen. Most famous is the wai wai noodles. There are a variety of food to eat . The canteen is the cheapest canteen that i have came across.

Senior students are very helpful. If you know someone or even if you dont and you come across them on watsapp or anything and you have any doubts they will clarify it for sure. Alumni is also well established broad minded people.

We follow cbcs system now. It is an autonomous college but affiliates with Calcutta board. Core subjects are of 100 marks each and other subjects of 50 marks. You can complete your syllabus and do well in exams. You will be provided enough time for self-study before exams. CA students are particularly in favor as the syllabus are mostly same.

I just went on the college website and applied for tge admission . Once i wad selected i was called for a so called interview. They didnot ask any questions but they just talk with you. If your name comes on the merit list then u r selected. Just after interview you have to go through an admission procedure and then after paying the money prescribed you are the part of xaverian family.

The teachers are extremely qualified. You cannot question them on their intelligence. Many teachers have their own books which are being referred to during the studies. They are very helpful and understanding. All teachers are not a serious one. However, almost every teacher makes a joke to refreshen your mind and make you enjoy the teaching.
