Likes

There is a cool culture in this university,which is useful to develop ourselves and our skills.
There are vast opportunities around the university that helps us to mingle with more friends.
Here there are students from all over the country. And we can get exposure for various cultures.

Dislikes

Regarding the men's hostels they are not permitted to roam outside of their respective hostel blocks after 9pm.
And though selecting faculties for every semester is a good thing but there is a huge competition for the respective course faculties.
As the university has vast number of students. There is also a huge competition in between students regarding exams and also regarding placements.

I have chosen electronics and communication engineering branch in Vellore campus. As I'm interested in electrical stuff I have chosen this course. Every semester we have an option to select our timetable and our faculties also.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is totally dependent on the entrance exam that the students are going to write. Based on the rank obtained in the entrance exam the fees structure varies. If we get a good rank like less than 10k or around, it will be under category 1 fees and around 2 lakhs per year.

Campus Life

Campus Life is cool. And we can enjoy a lot. An annual fest and also a technical fest are there. Annual fest is Riviera and is conducted in the month of February. And the technical fest is gravitas and is conducted in the month of September and around. And also there are some other small fests.

Admission

While preparing for JEE I applied for VIT University, Vellore. At first I applied for the universities entrance exam (VITEEE) which includes the same syllabus as for jee. In the entrance exam, it contains some aptitude questions also.

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
