Likes

The college looks awesome, has many greeneries everywhere. Very well maintained building, roads,etc.
Classroom and Laboratory facilities are very good. Very well designed.
Many Faculties teaches very well and very much understandable.

Dislikes

The distance from the Hostel blocks to the academic blocks is a bit far, so we take long time to reach the Academic blocks.
Some faculties doesn't teach well, they just show their PDF's and leave the class.
Too much assignments are meant to be completed within a short span of time , and in that time we also have examinations. Less time is available to complete the Assignments.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course since I'm very much interested in physics, and mathematics. I also have the ambition to become a robotics engineer in the future, for which the basics is mechanical engineering. The faculties are very friendly, teach well, and are very well trained and educated. The student ratio is comparatively lesser, maybe around 10:1. The term exams usually take place once every month, and students can get through their mistakes in these exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are a bit higher than some other colleges but the Education quality is very much better than at any other college. There are 5 fee categories: 1st-2,00,000 ; 2nd- 335000 ; 3rd-4,05,000 ; 4th-448000 ; 5th-492000. And there are scholarships for district toppers too..

Campus Life

The annual fest is called the RIVIERA and it takes place in the month of February and March. The tech fest is called the Gravitas and takes place mostly in the month of September. The Library has a very wide range of books of all genres. ALL theory classes have smart boards that faculties use to share their PPTs and explain the topic. All labs are well-equipped with the required amenities.

Hostel Facilities

There are Ac rooms and Non-Ac rooms. There are 2 bed, 3 bed, 4 bed, 6 bed and 8 bed rooms. All facilities are good in the hostel rooms. Meal quality is above average. The same menu will be followed every 2 weeks. Registration process for the Hostel will be open After payment of tuition fees online.

Hostel Fee: INR 145000 per year

Admission

The admission process is purely online. You get all your admission details online. To get into VIT, we have VITEEE, which is the entrance examination for joining VIT. Different courses have different cutoffs yearly. Application forms will be available on the VIT website. The application fee is around 1300-1400rs. The VITEEE may take place in April, and the registration will be open for 2-3 months.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
