as the course computer science engineering now a days is one of the most competetive feild and highly paid feild so i choosed to take computerscience engineering course . it's actually hard to say faculty :student ratio as it is a huge campus with nearly 50000 students and more than 3000 faculty [not precise] . most of our faculty are msc and phd graduates with good experiance of min 15 years experience . faculty here are friendly and helpful not only in classes or regarding only their subjects but also about future plannings , placements , and if required any kind of researches. vit has an unique exam structure . it has 3 major exams namely CAT1 CAT2 and FAT , all these exams have weightage of 60 marks and remaining 40 marks are from our 2 digital assignments and 1 slip test. exams are nearly held with minium gap of 1 to 2 months . exams are not that easy n that tuff but moderate.

vit has numerious internship programs where we can learn about professional feild and get first hand experiences of the work environment even before we reach the actual placements . here we are facilitated to work with industry counter parts and much more etc

Here there is no specific semster have to be completed for placements. We have to complete our credits in odder to be applicable for placements . vit has campus selection placement facilities. vit has a good placement with good ctc in many companies. Many companies vist here for campus recruitment . majorly the companies which visit vit for campus recruitment are MICROSOFT , COGNIZANT , INFOSYS , TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICE , BANK OF AMERICA , DELOITTE , NOKIA and many more . highest package of vit vellore as of up to 2022 is 1.02 crore per anum . it has an avarage package of nearly 10 lack per annum. nearly 80% of students have been successfully placed in 2022. i'm planning of a masters in computer science engineering after getting my degree .

our fee structure depends upon our branch we would like to choose and the catogery we get in that specified branch . so catogeries are especially divided based on the rank you get . these catogeries are of 5 types namely catogery-1, catogery-2 catogery -3, catogery-4, catogery-5. as already mentioned above these catogeries are based on the rank we get . these catogeries differ in fees . fee for catogery-1 is nearly like 200000 and as the catogery increases the fees for the course/branch increases. students with rank less than 500 can have a good chance for scholarship as they get nearly 25% decrement in fees and much more . i dont think it has any kind of stipend or some stuff like that.

vit vellore is a very green campus . it is much green and has a good environment . we have a annual fest named RIVERA which is celebrated very grandly . the campus is spread nearly for 370 acers . we have a new event daily . these events cant be online or offline it depends . we have a library here named priyar central library which has a very vast collection of books and references . class rooms are very spacious and clean . our campus has a gym , swimmingpool , and a large outdoor play ground . this campus also includes many bascket ball courts etc . here we have more than 300 clubs which are run by students and lead by management.

rooms can be choosed on our choise like 2 membered 4 membered and six membered also depending on ac and non ac rooms . rooms are spacious clean . in rooms we will be provided with a bed [cot should be brought by ourselves] , a chair , a table , a lockable shelf which are spacious and has 3 racks and also a open shelf with 2 racke above our table to keep our books and some stuff like that . food quality here is good but tast is not that satisfactory . mess are clean and hygenic . menu here is based on the mess type we choose such as special mess , nonveg mess and veg mess . our hostel is inside of our campus itself . if meeded we can stay in paid hostels out of the campus which are actually not preferable.

We had an entrance exam VITEEE. The exam fee was around 1300INR. We applied for VITEEE exam online in their official website . we had to choose our exam centres. we had 3 to 4 place options for exam centres. Once i got my exam center i had to choose the exam date .after we got exam dates and exam center. The exam was computer based test . comming up to eligibility vit has catogery system based on our rank in VITEEE examation . for CSE core branch we have to get nearly from 1 - 950 rank for catogery 1 .actually, here they have many branches of engineering but every branch has catogeries based on the rank we get in VITBEEE exam. generally there is no use of any kind of reservations. No improvements needed in admission process as we can easily get information from internet
