Likes

The cafes of college are really good. Most of the students enjoy their free time sitting in cafe
The college gives larges placement opportunities.
The college helped me in developing my personality.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because it was my dream to pursue btech. The college which I choose Doon Institute Of Technology is one of the best engineering college of my city. The teaching faculty here is highly experienced and highly qualified. Most of them have been graduated from IIT. All of them are highly inspiring and motivational. The student teacher ratio is good. The student at DIT undergoes regular sets of examinations. The student is tested through various online quizes. After half of the semester is over, the student has to give the written examinations(mid term) and after the semester is over, the student again has to give written examinations known as end term and the student needs to qualify these examinations to qualify for the next sem. The style of teaching and testing the student at DIT is just excellent, they prepare the students for sitting in an interview and for qualifying for placements. The college provide excellent placement and internship opportunities for students

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 200 per year

Internships Opportunities

My internship experience was really good. I got to learn many new things regarding placement. It really helped me to explore new things. I got an opportunity to work on a project and also got to meet new people which helped me to enhance my knowledge regarding the field of technology.

Placement Experience

After the sixth semester the students become eligible for campus placements. Various top companies visit the college offering large number of placements. Around 98percent of students secure top placements each year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees fir btech in my clg is 14Lakhs overall. The students who have scored good marks in JEE Or in intermediate examinations are been provided with scholarships. The college also provides internships in third year. The college provide immense placement opportunities in various top companies.

Campus Life

The annual fest of college Youthopia is conducted every year in the month of november. The technical fest is also conducted by the college. The college spends huge amount of money on the fests fir the students to enjoy. They call various celebrities to perform. The college has a huge library providing students with all the books and study material which is required. The classrooms are provided with excellent furniture and smart boards. The college provide various sports activities like cricket football hockey basketball etc. The college has various clubs for students for coding learning etc

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are excellent. The food in the mess id highly nutritional and tasty. All the facilities which should be given to a student are given in the hostel. The PGs located near the college are also very good.

Hostel Fee: INR 200 per year

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

I got into DBIT post completion of my diploma so it was a DSE or Direct second year engineering entry students , I got EXTC engineering in the second CAP round . The college offers Engineering in 4 Branches namely Computer Engineering , IT , EXTC, and Mechanical and students can get admission through either by doing 12th or after diploma . For students who have did 12th the college accepts admission through MHTCET and JEE the cutoff are usually high above 90+ percentile for Computer and IT branch while slightly low 80%+ for EXTC and Mechanical branch. The college has a overall seats of 120 seats in computer engineering Dept 60 of which are reserved for Christian Students.
