Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course by my choice, since it was my goal fo study engineering in one of the core subjects and moreover the faculty :student ratio is pretty good here And most of the faculty are PHD holders and senior professors.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided from 6th semesters, top recruiters come like jp Morgan, GOLDMAN, MCKINSEY etc. On campus One can also look for research intern off campus like DRDO research intern, and KIT Germany like foreign institutes.
Placement Experience
Students sit for placements from the 7th semester and most of the students 85-90% gets placed. Several companies like Amazon, American express, JP MORGAN AND CHASE, GOLDMAN SACHS etc are the top recruiters.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is increased by 10% every year, and the current semester fees is 94000 rupees. There are many scholarships like full fee waiver under BPL category and half fee waiver under reserved categories.
Campus Life
The fest of the college is PECFEST, the biggest fest of North India as considered by many people. Books and journals ar quite available in library. There are sever clubs and technical societies which keep on doing there work
Hostel Facilities
The quality of hostel mees food is okaish. Hostel are given mostly to the other state quota students. Single room, double share and dormitory are available and it is alloted on first come first serve basis as per fee payment.
Admission
Got admission through Jee mains examination and then JOSAA/CSAB counselling. Application of jee mains can be found easily, since it's conducted twice a year. The advantages of reservation is quite for a reserved candidate since it can be seen there is a large difference between the cutoffs of general category and reserved category students.
