What Students Say

Likes

Campus contains greenery and you can see peacock 🦚 in the campus
College is promoting sports . There are huge grounds in both the campus of our college

Dislikes

Some faculties who make the whole environment spoil because of their attitude
Prices of the canteen is much high as compared to other colleges canteen
A proper conveyance should be there to reach to college because it takes much time to travel

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

All the faculties of our colleges is nice and cooperative. My course eco+ maths faculty are really nice and specially the maths faculty . But There are some teachers I'll not reveal the name who spoils all the study mood because of their attitude

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 14105 per year

Placement Experience

2.5

I don't know much about the placement cell of the college but from google i have seen that last year the college offered package of ?4.5lpa which is not a small amount. Mostly students of this college does not depend upon the placement through college for example in my case i am pursuing for CA and i don't want the college placement i will make myself employed through my goal

Fees and Financial Aid

Delhi University provides you the cheap graduation fee as compared to other universities or colleges in this era . So as part of a student of delhi University it made me to afford it and students who are having any reservations are benefitted in the fees also.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is sporty . Swami shradhanand college has a huge playground and it is one of the best college for sports . Classroom of the old building are conjusted but classroom of new building is very much good as compared to old building. The only problem to this college is that it is situated in outskirts of delhi and the nearest metro station is almost 10 km and it takes 30 minutes to travel from college to metro station

Admission

I have qualified in the college through cuet . It has taken time to get admission just because my score was less (573.28/800) but my friends with kess score got admission even with low marks just because of category certificate. It should be taken on mind so that there would be merit based admission

A Day at College

Likes

Affordable fee structure that makes higher education accessible to students from different financial backgrounds.
Flexible learning system, allowing students to manage their studies alongside other responsibilities.
Opportunity to pursue a degree from delhi university through open and distance learning.

Dislikes

Limited opportunities for regular classroom interaction and face to face engagement with teachers and fellow students.
Students pursuing distance learning may need to rely more on self-study and independent preparation
More regular communication, student support, and interactive academic activities would improve the overall learning experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

Overall best

Likes

My college was a girl's college. There are maximum 60students in a class. Prints were quite cheap in the college cafe.
There were many fest functions in my college. I also participated in the dance fest in my first year. We also used to go on picnics from college.
India's chief guest at the annual function was M Venkaiah Naidu.

Dislikes

College fees were very high for general category people.
The behavior of many teachers was quite rude and arrogant as if they were teaching us for free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Infrastructure is not that good, college is a non dusu affiliated

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting
