The course curriculum is upto date and maintained with international standards. The faculty here are mostly Co operative and are highly qualified who know the subject very well. The exam schedule is quite good and there is a pretty good gap between two sets of exams.

Many tech related and tech non related companies give paid and non paid internships and also many a times give a ppo to the students which is quite impressive considering the number of students appearing for it.

Placements is vit's forte. Even after a huge number of students to be placed the average placement in recent years have been above 8 lpa. The above average students generally get placed in higher packages so there is no need to worry about it if the student does well in his/her academics.

There are five categories of fees which would be allotted during counselling depending upon the student's rank and preferred branch. Greater the rank lesser will be the fees. There is no fee hike during the course so it remains constant as discussed during admission.

The overall experience at the campus is actually nice but the only concerning factor is the large crowd of students in vit. There are a lot of places to hang out with friends and enjoy your campus life. Moreover there are also loads of clubs and chapters which keep the students engaged during non exam days.

There are different kinds of hostel rooms available to choose like 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 bedded rooms with and without AC. There are messes in almost every hostel block wherein there are three kinds namely veg, no veg and special mess. The caterers are nice and provide nutritional diet.

There is an entrance exam for all campuses of vit called viteee which is a mcq based cbt mode test. There is no reservation for admission and it depends only on your marks and rank in viteee. The application form for viteee can be found on vit official website.
