Remarks

Not of many complaints. The learning here feels good. The crowd has a different class which can't be competed. The placements for civil engineering are quite less, which are to be increased.

Entrance Preview

I'm a diploma holder. I completed my diploma in mechanical engineering last year, applied for the cap round process. I landed up here as I was allotted this college. There's no interview taken for the admission. The MIT educational Institutes are well reputed for the quality education they provide. I was interested in doing civil engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is pretty good. There is good focus on the practical knowledge. We get to learn many new things through practicals. Although the practical sessions are somewhat limited. No idea about the research initiatives by the institutes.

Internships Opportunities

Yes the college sometimes provides internships depending upon various factors. I haven't had any yet, although as discussed with many the experience about the internships is always distinct, where we get to learn everything practically. There isn't any Stipend paid as it for learning propose n for short term.

Placement Experience

4

The college is having very well placements which add on to its strong points. The placements for other branches in the institute are good as compared to the civil branch. The average students getting placed each year are 70-80%. Mechanical & IT companies visits alot in the college. The average package obtained is 5 lakhs per annum.

College Events

4.5

Along with this Several Faculty development programs/ Technical workshops/ Seminars/ Guest lecture are organised Ranked 27th among ‘Top Engineering Institutes' in India.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college isn't affordable at all. The fee is very high. Let's say the fee of MIT engineering college is the highest in the whole SPPU university. It is really a tough task to pay the fees all at once without installments as the college instructs is to do so. The fee for a general category students is 1.35 lakhs, which is too high.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the scholarship is provided by the College i.e by the scrutiny board. It is provided according to the category of the students. I do avail s scholarship named EBC, which is given to the open category students only.

Campus Life

5

The colleges performance in the organising of extracurriculars is appreciable. MIT Pune at Kothrud, Pune is the only engineering college in the SPPU which is affiliated to the World Peace University, India.

Hostel Facilities

3

Yes the college has the hostel facility. The hostel is somewhat far away from the college campus. Apart from this the hostel fee also is too high. It is 86K yearly including the mess charges. So rather than staying here students prefer to live in the other private hostels outside the College campus. The rooms they provide are single as well as on sharing. The food at the hostel is average.

Alumni/Alumna

There's a mediocre interaction of students with alumni. There's a award function organised by the alumni association named "Jewels of MIT" where the former MITians are called up and a career guiding or mentoring sessions are held. But as it is a very large platform provided students didn't get to meet with them on personal level. The alumni surely contribute to student as well as the college development.

Exam Structure

No not that much which is gonna make us feel tired. Rather talking about the labs I will say they never made us feel anything like tiredness. However the exams sometimes are boring. It is chill cultured but everything done is done sincerely.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty are well qualified & experienced. They are good at sharing practical knowledge and experiences as well. However we pay quite a huge amount to the college, so when in return what we expect is the faculties to concentrate on the overall development of the students. The faculties are moderately interactive. The standard of teaching is pretty high as almost everyone of the teaching faculties are either masters or PhD degree holders.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
