No, all are oky. But it is rural area. But no problems.

Course Curriculum Overview

Every department 60students. Our college 5 department. Ee, me, cse, ece, civil. Every year 2sem. Every students are science stream (Pcm)are appeared wbjje and admission. Our college is more nice. And local area.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 1440 per year

Internships Opportunities

Simens and more company rples offered under internship every year.and tcs, capazamini, are visit. Every intern spent internship. That no problems for placement. Many students are worked project engineering.

Placement Experience

7sem students are eligible for our campus placement. Many companies are present then wipro, tcs, cognizant, and core and many many technical company offered the job. Every year more than 80%students got placed.after betech got a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college fess more cheapest. Because it is government college, every students 1st year admission fess5000,and cse, ece per sem fess6k and ee, me, civil, 3k. Our college SVMCM, oasis state scholarship are available.

Campus Life

Annual fest conducted our college it is name aykatn. And tech fest, freshers are conducted our college. Our college out side sports failed present. Our big campus. Our college natural beauty spot. And our college many clubs organised.

Admission

State levels Wbjje exam.. It exam cracked and admission any wb engineering and pharmacy college. Application date start last week of December. Application fess 400for sc, st, obc, and gn category 500.

Interview Experience

Our college more company visited, and interview and gb process conducted. And coding test exam conducted. Others criteria mens diploma students are eligible for lateral engineering betech. Are 4rounds admission processes.

Good Internship Opportunities

Placement Experience:

The placement cell provides us with training programs and internships and also if the students are careful and disciplined in the classroms they can crack through job interviews. There is mock viva at the end semester and also some on campus hiring companies came in our college.

The college average placement are 6 lakh per annum and in my branch out of 64 student only 30 God placement but the mistake is of the students because many companies are visiting our colleges but they couldn't find the talent required for the skilled person they required

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Fair college according to me

Placement Experience:

Our college provide really good placements if the student is really eligible for employment. There are adequate no. Of companies visiting the campus. Some big companies are - MICROSOFT, LAB VANTAGE, DELTAX, RTCAMP, DELOITTE, ACCENTURE, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS, IBM, MUSIGMA, TIGER ANALYTICS, KEY SIGHT TECHNOLOGIES, KEYENCE, MANIKARAN POWER, TCS, E&Y etc. The highest package is around 20 lpa and the avarage is around 5 - 6 lpa. Placements are better for cse, it and ece. The core branches have mediocre placements.

The college is good for academics but there is no campus life.

Placement Experience:

The placements are average in the college. From 7th semester the students are eligible for placements. About 60% students get placed in the college. The average package of our college is 3-4 lakhs per annum and the highest package last year was around 13 lakhs per annum. I will choose to do M.tech after passing out of the college.

I applied in in the Government engineering colleges only and I cut conferred admission in this college. I choose this college over the others because I got the confirm admission in it. And if I tell about the admission process of this college, then I have to say this is a Government engineering College which is affiliated to AICTE and students can take admission through WBJEE counseling only and for these students have to qualify the wbt exam and have to secure a particular rank to get admission...Read More

A brief overview of RKMGEC

The main reason students come to this college is because of the fact that fees are affordable and also this is purely government college. Admission process is quite easy you need all the necessary documents (Aadhar, Pan, etc) along with your WBJEE scorecard and rankcard. Other important fact to mention is that only students who are permanent resident of West Bengal can seek for admission. You need a domicile certificate for that....Read More

I applied for many other colleges like Jadavpur university, IEM but wasn't able to make ther with my rank and financial instability. I opted for RKMGEC because it offered a compeling mix of quality education,easy faculty and lowe tuition fees. The eligibility was based on west bengal joint entrance examination (WBJEE) scores with specific cutoffs which vary every year. I face rejection from a couple of other top tier colleges primarily due to high competition and slightly lower intense exams scores.
