Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Electrical Engineering as I want to prepare for engineering services examinations, the student ratio is good, mostly faculties are PhD holders from IITs and are very qualified, the teaching method is also very good , assignments are given and notes are provided by the teachers . There are 3 exams , two mid term tests and 1 end sem main exam , mid term. exams are in 1.5 month interval and in the end there are end sem exams

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

there are various internship opportunities in the college , and additionally you can also apply for internship in IITs and various other government organisations , and various private and online internships are also provided by the department and other clubs and authority.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible from 7th sem for campus placements, the companies visit here are very good and nice , provide good placement , this year companies visited were a little less and the highest package offered was 22 lakhs , approx 70 percent students get places , I will go for engineering services after graduation

Fees and Financial Aid

the fees is not very much , you only have to pay around 46000 rupees per semester and for biomedical and information technology branches you have to pay nearly 65000 , the hostel fee is additional if you opt for it , there are many scholarships according to categories and percentage,

Campus Life

The annual fest of our college is AYAAM and there are many more other cultural fests , there are lots of books and journals in library , classrooms are spacious and properly vantilated with all essential facilities

Hostel Facilities

You get a two seater room in first year girls hostel , there are various facilities in hostels, mess is also good and there is laundry geaser and other facilities are also provided, security is also good and . Average college with no placements and exposure

Likes

I like infrastructure of the campus... infrastructure are very beautiful.
Library. I like library facilities college provide and we can take book from there.
Canteen not..much but I likes this average

Dislikes

Placement their is no placement or limit placement only 2-3LPA
Bus Facility their Very poor bus facilities
Labs their labs computer are not working properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

I applied for IET davv but I kept it as second preference in MP dte counselling. Other options available for me were some IIITs and lower branches in NITs but I wanted to go for IT sector. Now reason for me for choosing this college was it was slight better than iet and slight lower than IIITs but fees of IIITs was very high, So I didn't applied for them. When I applied for sgsits suddenly they increased their fees. I had no option left other than iet or taking sgsits, but in between confusions and dilemma I choosen sgsits by suggestions of relatives and other elders. Admission process is done through MP dte counselling, based on jee mains rank. Cutoff of general category for IT branch is about AIR 45,000. Seat allocation follows the reservation rules of mp government....Read More

But I chose Sgsits cse over nit bhopal ece because I wanted to pursue my career in cse and I have no interest in ece. The admission process of the college is easy . First filling of application through date and then if we get seat we have to report college for the final admission process which is just of 1-2 hours and after fee submission your admission is confirmed. For BTech the scores accepted are of Jee mains. The cutoff can be considered above 90 percentile....Read More
