College have its own T&P cell and they will help in any sort to get an internship companies like CBI(Bank), Adtiya Birla Group, Ageis, SAIL, TATA group, Mahindra group, Ceat tyres etc generally come for offering management internships stipend varies from INR 2000 to 20000 for 8 weeks.
Placement Experience
There was 100% placement in 2013 companies like CIL (Coal India Limited), TCS, DTDS India Pvt Ltd, etc took for very good packages highest package offered was 11.5 LPA starting from 4.2 LPA.
College Events
There are like 2 National level fests every semester 1 international level Fest (ISM International students meet) every year hall days and garden fests are there like every semester students from different colleges like IIT KGP, IIM Ranchi, ISM Dhanbad, KIIT etc from different corners of India come to participate 1 Sports Fiesta every year sponsors like Vodafone, Nokia, Samsung, Sail, Nalco etc invests in those fests.

As it is a government funded institute fee structure is more than feasible as compared to other premier colleges it will cost one third of it including hostel and mess charges.

Loan facility with SBI and other nationalized banks scholarships for PhD and technical graduates for MS etc phd scholars have their fundings from HRD ministry.
Campus Life
I have not experienced such campus life to be frank It is awesome a 650 Acre green high tech campus, hostels, students from different parts of India and abroad, classy flood light playgrounds for every sports I can heard of, a world class swimming pool etc etc etc its a zero ragging campus having almost scholars from every race religion gender ration is almost even all sorts of extra curricular goes on through out the year.
Hostel Facilities
As NIT R is a fully residential institute, students have to stay in hostel (excluding locals called as day scholars) 7 Boys Hostel (one of them is the Asia's largest) and 1 girls hostel can cater approximately 5000 plus scholars hostel is single occupied.
Alumni/Alumna
We have an great alumni network managed by a specialist team dedicated to it have a home coming every year for seniors alumni meets are conducted every year the meets not only happens in the campus, it happens in different cities like bangalore, mumbai, delhi etc.
Exam Structure
Exam structure were cool every semester includes two exams a mid sem exam and an end sem exam a 1 month vacation after every end semester weekend structure is followed here, sataurday sunday off.
Faculty
I will simply say they were not faculties, they were just like mentors and guides faculties there will encourage you for research, paper publishing etc guest faculties are also invited from institutes like IIM C, IIM R etc.
