Story of Manipal

Course curriculum is pretty nice and interesting. I haven't had the opportunity to meet the faculty members but I'm told they are pretty chill and very professional. I did meet few other faculty members of research Dept, they were pretty nice to talk to. I opted this course because it has a nice mix of computers and communication and has a nice reputation among people.

I'm not quite aware about this but I heard companies like Intel has offered nice stipends for interships. The tasks are mainly to help the team and just learn with little to no pressure. The stipend was aounrd total 1.5lpa for a total of 3 months which was really nice. Seniors told me many interships programs results in the PPO and many students gets placed like this.

From third year, students become eligible for internships. Companies like Microsoft, adobe, intel and many other visit the campus Highest this year was around 45Lpa by Microsoft Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is over 90% I plan to sit for placements after getting my degree

Total course fees of my branch is 18,64,000 of total 4 years. I paid around 335000 for the first year. There is a scope of scholarship. Our college provides AICTE scholarships to the people with income below 8lpa. This is a nice scholarhsip scheme. Also, there are scholarships for good achievers in exam of MET. Financial Assitance is als there in the campus. There are various banks available from which we can avail loans.

Life at campus is pretty chill and nice and flashy. There are fest organised regularly. Last semester we had Tech Tatva, the flagship event of Manipal which had Rahul Dua and Chetan Bhagat as chief guests. There were also other fests like Carnival which had Russian DJs. This semester we have Revels, the prestigious fest of Manipal. There are huge number of books and journals available in the library. There are whiteboards, projectors, mic available in the classrooms. Sports and extra curricular activities on the campus are there in the campus, we have teams of almost every sport you can think of. Hostels have cleaning avaiable which is once or twice in a week. Water is also available. Meal quality is very apt for the price and menu is well diversed Registration Process is pretty smooth and it happens once we have our admission letter. I rented a room of block 10

Admission Process was very smooth. There was an exam called MET(Manipal Entrance Test). We have to give that exam to be eligible for admissions in this insititute. Cutoffs are around 6500 rank to get anything under CS related branch.
