Course Curriculum Overview
So , according to me , the faculty depends on a variety of teaching methods, obviously, you won't find all of them good but certainly , we have the best faculty in terms of teaching methods and provision of lab and good systems. I had interest in it previosuly , plus the upcoming future holds IT all around. So , basically we have 70 students per faculty , thus 1:70. Most of the faculty are pHD scholars also, working on some sort of paper thus Very much qualified.Damn! Theyt take examination every month , its a bit exhausting to be honest . If i could have changed this , i would have surely done.Passing them is a bit easy , obviously depends on students to students.
Internships Opportunities
A lot of companies come here to offer internship to the deserving candidates , once they are in 3rd year. if so you do well, your chances of gettinf=g placesd in the same company increases. Do dsa , web dev app dev , ypbu can crack easi;y.
Placement Experience
From 4th Year Starting you get eligble for placement . So i cannot nam eall of them but yes , big companies like microsoft as well as Mass recruiter's like TCS all of the companies ranging in thjis range exost. 1.1 cr wwas the highest 20,00 student . avg pacakege wsa 9.23l 90% usually gets placed. Ill do MBA
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is high when compared to the return of investment , but yes you do get scholarship if you have acheivement and after coming to VIT you perform well. So, i am Second year student don't have any job or internship opportunites till now , but if i get i will definetly inform you guys.
Campus Life
Riviera is the annual fest being held at VIT , every February , it is more of a Cultural even twhere they invite more of singers and performers to perform , entry fee is like 2k. We have Tech fest such as Gravitas held in the month of October .Liubrary is good, have all osrts of books you need.Classrooms dont have AC's , dont know why! sports and all are suppoerted in the campus and well-promoted. There are like 100 clubs over here , run by students providing a good atmosphere to the campus.
Hostel Facilities
We have beds (wooden) , youll need to buy your own matress though , got ac as well as non ac rooms.You get wooden as well as tin cupboards.Lights are also there, fans are also there. Mess is totally 'mess' cos, yeah probably the reason why all the restaurant outside are occupied by studnes everyday and everytime. If you have marks , you get hostel of your choice, ac rooms and what not , but if so not , you siffer. you cannot rent a PG without permission.
Admission
It was a Bit time Taking Process, but yet easy . You'll need to get a decent sort of rank in the Exam of VIT in order to get a good Course adn A Good branch . You can easily Find the Application form from the Official website of vit. Application Fee was 1500 at that time .Yes, they do give reservation sort of thing to the local students of vellore, in order for better future for them to the students.But, for people appearing through vit's official test, there is no such provision of reservation. I think , it is decent and thus no scope of improvement but yes, can definitly try making this process easier by having a bit of transparency in the above case.
