Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course Curriculum is good and well designed by faculties here who are quite educated and renowned name in their field. They are all well behaved and supportive as long as you know your limits and act right infront of them.

Internships Opportunities

2

Internship Opportunities are minimal. College reputation is good but placements and internship companies are not that good. Many MNCs also stopped coming to our campus following the recession and hiring freeze. So you have to look for yourself outside of college for a decent internship. I would suggest anyone my college based on internship and Placement Opportunities.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are decent when compared to National Level Institutes. Placements comes around 7th Semester and it goes till end of 8th sem. Approximately 100+ companies visited our campus and number of placements they offer varies each year depending upon their requirements. Average package is just above 4LPA and if you're looking for FAANG level companies just opt for off campus opportunities. College placement is decent and it may not provide you your dream packages. Each year around 70% students are getting placed (Honest Review and not promotional) but you should look for company work culture and working environment more than anything else in my view. Majority of companies are startups as many MNCs started freezing their hiring process earlier this year(2023). But situations might change still I would say placements are pretty average and you should focus more on off campus opportunities and referrals.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure is somewhat 80-100k per year and it includes Academics as well as Mess and hostel charges. For each semester you've to pay separately through the Canara Bank Branch inside our campus. There exists some scholarships based on merit as well as for TFW students which provides financial assistance.

Campus Life

5

Life at our campus is quite happening. Because during my stay of 4 years I have explored all the entertainment domains within our University. Different Clubs and their social activities makes your day anytime. You should get involved fully in your club activities with seniors. Senior - Junior relationship is the best part of this college which is second to none. Sports facilities are provided inside your hostel as well as in College ground. You can take part in various events at our college like TedX, Innobuzz as well as Technical and Cultural Fests. You can explore a lot Outside the College Campus as Sambalpur and Hirakud is filled with natural beauty( Mountains and River Mahanadi ). In Nights we used to visit various Dhabas along the NH highway as well as different Restro Cafe and Hotels around Sambalpur.Yeah the location might be a bit different from your hometown but you'd not miss anything which you could have done there.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel Facility is good room are well furnished and well maintained. Three Beds are allotted for a single room and it's spacious and well ventilated.Quality of meal i would say is okay because few times you've eat outside to avoid bad food. I stayed in the hostel provided by our College and it's decent so no need to stay outside unless you're looking for personal room or something.

Admission

You have apply through OJEE Counseling and based on your JEE rank you can choose between your preferred branch. Then on a particular date college will release a notice regarding the admission process and documents mentioned are must required to go through the admission process. Then they will verify the documents and a specific enrollment number will be allocated for further process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.
