College non academics is so nice as compared to other college.
College library is very nice. Many books are available to read books.

Dislikes

College surrounding are quite decent. No one any market are available from this college.
College doesn't give any internships programme
College placement is very poor. In this college only sales company are coming.

Course Curriculum Overview

I will come in this college because in this college fee is much lesser than other college. College fee is less because bengal government are give to subsidy to college. I am not saying that in this college, Colege faculty is not awesome but decent. Some trachers are well qualified such as passout from IIT or Nit. In this college, exam are strict. In semester exam almost 85 to 90 percent students are fail.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure in this college is low. But one thing is notice that if you admission in this college is If you admitted in this then in any semester or year college fee is increased. From other state no scholarship is provided. But If you are a Bengali then so many schloarship are given from this college. Such Swami Vivekananda scholarship programme as many things like that....

In this college social lofe is not incresased as much. I think that from 4 yrs no fest is organised in this college. But In this yrs a day after Sarwati Pooja Dj night event os organised. In this College library is very well organised and library is very good as compare to other college in bengal . Sports and Campus both are good. Extra Curricular activities is cery good . collge appreciate to participate in extra curricular activities or non academics activites .

Admission

BCET is good college but not very good as such college. Students are admission in this college because fee of this college is very low as compared to other college. But in this college placement is not good. No one company are come in this college for placement. So I preferred if you have money then you don't vome in this college .

Placement Experience:

The college average placement are 6 lakh per annum and in my branch out of 64 student only 30 God placement but the mistake is of the students because many companies are visiting our colleges but they couldn't find the talent required for the skilled person they required

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Honest opinion about my college(AOT)

Placement Experience:

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

The college is good for academics but there is no campus life.

Placement Experience:

The placements are average in the college. From 7th semester the students are eligible for placements. About 60% students get placed in the college. The average package of our college is 3-4 lakhs per annum and the highest package last year was around 13 lakhs per annum. I will choose to do M.tech after passing out of the college.

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves. Faculties don't help us properly. And for admission you have to give WB JEE entrance exam. Other than that nothing. Also you can have a direct admission....Read More
