Course Curriculum Overview
As a dedicated finance enthusiast, i was seeking a required qualification in finance and this course suited my expectations. Faculty members are very outdated still following the 90's method of teaching. Though some of them are sincere and are very supportive but most of them are just there for the sake of attendance. No heed is paid on the development of students. Exams are conducted timely and it is very easy to get through as passing percentage is almost 100. This attributes to the fact that the question are mostly asked from the PYQs. No need to put extra effort just go through PYQs you will pass.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are very nominal. I have passed my graduation(3yrs) in a meagre few of 5k. As far as placements are concerned. The chance of getting placed just on the base of graduation is very minimal. But PG courses such as MBA and M.COM have some edge over UGs in terms of placements.
Campus Life
Annual fest in Spandaan it's a combined fest inculcating all the faculties. Books are very outdated, though amenities and facilities provided in the library are good. Sports are conducted, there is university sports board of BHU which organises various events and tournaments at University level. There are various societies and clubs operates at University level such as Drama society, dance society , poets club, singing club and Debate society etc. and the best part is no formal application or auditions are required to take part into the above societies, because these societies never exists, you have to make your own and get enrolled into it.
Admission
The primary eligibility which the course require is that the candidate must have completed its 12th. In my time it was available on the BHU website, but now since, there is a combined examination(CUET) you need to fill the CUET form . Yes reservation benefits are there a candidate can avail it by providing proper and updated certifications for the same. Since now it has been transformed into combined University level examination. I am unaware about the pattern of examination.
