Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course so that I can prove myself in computer science field. As from my school days, I was eager to know how an app or website works. There are more than 5000 faculty members at LPU. Faculty members are highly qualified. And their teaching method is amazing .Exams are taken after 2 months. Namely midterm and endterm and I feel that passing these exams is not so difficult if you keep practicing daily work assigned by teachers
Internships Opportunities
There are many internship opportunities provided by companies which come to campus on daily basis and they also provide a handsome amount of stipend to it's students. But as I am a fresher here, I need some time to go through the process so I can understand it better and can give better inputs in justifying the process.
Placement Experience
Basically, students become eligible for placements from third of the semester itself. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Paytm and many giant companies make a visit to campus on regular basis. They have made a significant amount of offers to the students. Highest package offered is 3 crores and average package stands around 8 lpa. Lpu provides hundred percent placement guarantee which is just amazing.
Fees and Financial Aid
I feel that cost of studying at LPU is quite high, but if you perform really well in their scholarship exam named Lpunest, you can get amazing scholarship efforts. Apart from scholarship they provide many benefits to their students like lone assistance etc.
Campus Life
There are more than 400 clubs in the University. One can join in any club of their choice. Aso, there is a Central library. Iin the library almost all the books are available at any time. There are many events which keep on going in the university be it in sports or extra curricular activities like concerts fest, induction etc. Mostly all the clubs are run by students itself.
Hostel Facilities
The facilities provided in the room include basic necessities like bed, chair table ,almirah, geyser or ac based on your choice. Meal quality of hostel mess is quite average. Food made will be ok for your health if you are health conscious. Registration process for hostel is quite simple which involves a 10,000 booking amount which you can pay via lpu ums. It is affordable as such services can be availed at any time, in emergency there is a provision for 24 hours ambulance faculty here which adds a plus point to the proceedings.
Admission
Admission process was quite simple. The eligibility criteria was 60 percent marks in 12th boards. There was a scholarship exam named as Lpunest which was held and I availed discount on fees through the exam itself.
