Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course becaus iam more into software side so for my rank with less fee i can avail information technology. Faculty here is okayish but curriculum is good , student ratio is horrible strength here is so heavy , exam timing were very quick and it doesn't require much study to clear exams

Internships Opportunities

We get internships opportunities from various companies which results in strengthening our skills and also we can do various with collaborating with faculties and under faculties we can jnclude that in our resume

Placement Experience

From 3rd year students who have less than two backlogs are eligible for placement. Highest package recorded last year was 2 crore per annum and average package for cs is 8lpa. Im planning to do masters in abroad after my graduation

Fees and Financial Aid

Academic fee are divided based on category wise they are divided into 5 categories for each branch every category differs 50,000 in amount. I didn't get any scholarship based on you viteee exam rank you will be selected for which category you are eligible in which branch

Campus Life

There will be two big fests conducting every year one is riviera it is cultural fest it will be conducted for four days another one is tech fest which is called gravitas and other small fests will be conducted by each languages people. Projectors will be there in every class room and ac labs with computers are implemented in every class . There will clubs for every language and different sports clubs and other clubs will be there

Hostel Facilities

There will be air conditioner and cupboard and bed provided by college we have 2-10 bed options we have three types of mess option veg, non-veg, special mess type money will be varied based on mess type and bed sharing we have selected. Online hostel registration is available.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Admission

I have applied viteee exam and through the exam 99 marks out of 130 based on the marks i got 6k rank so based on councelling i got admission in information technology branch with 1st category fee pattern there is no reservation benefits for this college , i have applied to viteee through online . Present admission process is good

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

The network connectivity in girls hostel is poor
The food at mess is average sometimes it is not taste

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
