'Lpu-transforming Life of College grads.'

The Course of Btech CSE is one of the most prestigious course throughout every professional careers for future. And personally I was pretty interested in Computer science and coding a long back since my childhood. The ratio of faculty : student is approximately 1:40. Every faculty is highly qualified here appointed by the authorities , atleast PHD is required and some are from niits and iits even ,which gives students a good exposure .And teaching is very conceptual and professionally sound in student own like environment , where almost every student is taken into consideration irrespective of their grades and other differences. End term examinations in LPU is quite difficult for some students and otherway sometimes it can be beneficial if we have practised and prepared well throughout the sems. And normally there are chances of reappear for almost 40-50% of students but other than that ppts and teachers direction and some previous years question pattern can help to boost scores.

Big mncs Like Deloitte , Juspay, Accenture, Jp Morgan Salesforce,Optimiser , Dell etc and some the best startups like Zomato , Flipkart, ola also visit for placements. Various roles are offered based on company's requirements and key skillsets for industry ,like SDE, software associate,SWE , support engineer , back-end , data analyst , full stack , cyber and on various other domains. Various projects are allotted to students based on the recent industry demands and also several courses focussing on personality enhancement.

Students are eligible for getting placements after they complete their 5 semesters . Currently big companies like Juspay , MRF , Optimiser, Accenture ,etc are visiting for giving placement drives to the vertos. The highest package till date is 3 Cr which is also available on the website , and for fresher it is 30lpa this year. The average is 5.7 lpa to a 6.5 lpa approx. But fortunately almost everyone gets placed by 4 th year. My focus is mainly to grab a good internship at a product based company and start my journey to the corporate world by my 6 th semester if everything happens for the good.

Lovely Professional University (LPU) has a diverse range of programs with varying fees. For specific details on the fees structure, scholarship, it's available on LPU website.The cost to study is not much as compared to availability of the opportunities for placements and proper teaching to guide students throughout career . I am currently in 4 th sems and intership opportunities come in 6th sems and also for placements on campus.

So the best thing about being a vertos is his/her campus life. Every day or other there is a new event hosted at campus with active participation of students .The events can be of various types ranging from international campaign of students , tech -fest , coding hackathons, to cultural and sports events with Celebrities from different fields as chief guests. Lpu ensures to provide even more than its needed when it comes to facilities on study material ,books and other stuffs. The Grand Shanti Devi Mittal auditorium serves for the purpose of active participation on on going events. Coming to sport's ,there is Indoor sports complex and outer field area for volleyball , basketball , football , cricket. Even squash is there , along with gym , swimming pool ,etc. One of the Clubs is GFG club which is organised and maintained by us , for hosting hackathons and several competitions and collabs .

Eligibility: Minimum 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent. Qualify LPUNEST (National Entrance and Scholarship Test). English medium of instruction in qualifying exam if English wasn't a subject.
