Course Curriculum Overview

I want to be a lawyer so I have choosen this course. There are individual profesor fir individual subjects and semester. They hold masters in their specific subjects The question was hard but the teaching of my faculty made me answer the questions and I passed

Placement Experience

The placement percentage is above 90. If no companies visit the college provides opportunities as they have tie up with companies. Students get eligible from final semester or8th semester. My plan is to start my own law firm.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite good and a normal person can afford it . The scholarship you get is based on your mark of 12th and many more such as your gender if you are a girl you get more discount as to promote beti bachao beti padhao.

Campus Life

The campus life is much more exciting as I can explore it and have fun annual fest Is being conducted in month of January. Tech fest in June onwards. You can find books of every course and many other philosophy books too. You get a good and clean classroom. Social group is probono club.

Hostel Facilities

You get attached washroom. And 2 seater room to 7 seater. The meal is quite good . You can get rented room or pg . The hostel fee is affordable . Menu includes both veg and non veg. Which is based on day to day . You get breakfast lunch and dinner with evening tea

Hostel Fee: INR 106000 per year

Admission

You can directly take admission after your 12th by passing above 60% in your exam . Then you can apply for the admission process then you'll be followed up by your councillor who will make you understand about the admission plan and the scholarship you'll get according to your 12 percentage

This college has average placement of 6 lakh per annum . College offers summer internships which improves students. Placement depends on students how they performed in academics days . I will persue LLM after my BBA LLB H

Likes

University Campus is the best thing about Guru Ghasidas University as it has a very large campus and it is very beautiful.
Extracurricular Activities are also good in this University. Students who have special talents can nourish their skills here.
Swabhiman Thali is a great initiative by the university which provide quality food to the students in just 10 Rs/- per thali.

Dislikes

Transport facility is not much good as the campus size is very large and Bus service is not operable currently.
Equality of education is not upto the mark. I am a law student and faculty of our department are not consistently taking regular classes. I don't know about other department.
Not much facility are their inside the campus, the hostel students have to go outside the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is around average because it has a typical system of attending lectures and keeping up your attendance which disables student to explore the creative side of themselves. The semester exams are conducted in every six months with 1 assignment and 1 Internal exam each sem.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course was BBA.LLB(Hons). In my batch, there were 30 students. Teachers at Mats University are very friendly and skilled. Mainly all teachers there are LLM qualified. Term exams are every 6months and question paper patterns are subjective and practical.

One of the great places to study law in chattisgarh.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I took was bba llb.. as I was interested in management aspects along with wit law, the structure gives for an integrated study of both the subjects at the same time. The student-faculty ratio is good and the faculty are very approachable for any academic help and the atmosphere is quite free and I feel that is a big factor for a law school. The term exams were always held in time and can be passed with low to mid difficulty if given with some sincerity as 40% marks are allowed to internals.and 60% to written exams. and passing is 50%.

Decent, but with a potential to do wonders!

Remarks:

Overall, the college is really good and it is upon you how you want to make the best out of the innumerable opportunities available. I believe the faculty can get better and more professionals can be recruited to teach. The mess facility was bad but with the new Vice Chancellor in our college, things are starting to get better. We also have juice shops, laundry services, AMUL, fast food centres and salons in our college itself. The library is huge and has access to all kinds of material we might need. Otherwise, the library is always open to suggestions on what the students need.

MIXED FEELINGS

Admission:

I had to write CLAT to get into this National Law University. I chose it because I wanted to become a lawyer. I was a science student but then I wasn't sure if I wanted to become an engineer. But then I saw CLAT as an option. I explored the career of a lawyer. I used to think it's the traditional court profession but understanding later, I got to know about the corporate experience provided by the law firms. As I wanted to get into corporate sector I chose CLAT over JEE examination.

A Point which gives many ways

Remarks:

My university is average in everything. People are doing good here. Many of its alumnus are in very good law firms or company,some have cracked civil services, some have judicial services, some have done or are doing their P.G from very good colleges in the world like Harvard, NUS etc. So we can see it as a good investment by taking admission here.

Know about Kalinga University raipur

I have heard about Kalinga University after completing my 12th standard that it was a reputable college of chattisgarh the course I want to choose was also available here and it is verified from ugc so it's degree also has value in future. Great Life at Kalinga!

I applied for Amity University, Raipur but read some negative reviews and also they didn't provide online classes that's why I dropped the idea. I chose Kalinga University because counsellor explained everything nicely. No i didn't got any rejection from any college. Process is not so difficult. There is an entrance exam KALSEE.
