Remarks

All I can say is education was the only good thing nothing else is good in college.

Entrance Preview

I took KCET exam and scored 32112 ranks and someone referred me this college so I opted for it. And I regret doing that. Admission was simple, just had to fill-up a form and pay the money.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course structure is pretty good. The way they teach Is pretty organized and more than enough to gain information about the chapters and the syllabus. The notes given by faculty is really helpful to score in the exam. The explanation about the topics are really good and if there is a need for any practical knowledge to be given for understanding of the subject, it's given but the faculty.

Internships Opportunities

My college did provide internship for people who wanted to go. They gave internship from some medium scale industries and there we could only learn about basic industrial things and nothing more.

Placement Experience

3

Placements for mechanical engineering is zero. No core placements for mechanical engineers. Only for software or it people, there are placements. Only two big companies come from software companies that are Capgemini and Tech Mahindra. Rest all are small.

College Events

2.5

There were really fewer events in college. Only 2 proper events which are 1. Freshers day 2. Calypso. Both are just simple events where few people will entertain you. In freshers day they will also add an ethnic day. There is nothing much going in the events, nothing special. This is the thing that I don't like in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is really cheap. I had to pay INR 36000 +12500 in the start as I was through CET and for rest of the years I had to pay INR 39000. I stated in a hostel for 2 years and I had to pay INR 60000 for 1 year and another INr60000 for another year. This college is really good for middle-class people.

Fees and Financial Aid

I never applied for scholarships or loans in college but college provides scholarships and loan to those who need them. Most of my friends applied for scholarships and got it.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hotel when I joined was really great and the food also was really good. But then the mess guy was changed and the food was pretty basic. After 2 years they asked me to vacate the room and I was told only to stay in the hostel if I were you stay in the hall as they were filling up freshers in the room. This was very rude. I left the hostel and joined a pg.

Alumni/Alumna

There were few sessions where alumni come and tell you about all the other things about jobs but that was that much helpful. But it was good to hear from the seniors.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was chilled out nothing hectic all was as per vtu rules. Nothing was frequent. Even If it were, off was for the best understanding of the subject. Labs were really good. All equipment that was needed was there in labs and everything we could learn in it. The labs were well maintained and no problems were there in the machines.

Admission

Admission was simple. All I had to do was take the KCET from which mentioned that I had been selected in that college. After submitting that form to the guys in the admission sector that will give you a admission form which you have fill in all your details and with that your previous educational certificates you have to submit. After submitting you have to pay the money. And that's it.

Faculty

4

The faculty that we get in the college are well qualified and experienced in the subject that they have to teach. All the faculty that they have in called are First Class pass out in all of their education. The faculty we had was very energetic and willing to teach us until every one In the class understood and they keep motivating the students to learn in the process and not just memorize the subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is a mix of both Computer Science and AIML which is increasingly relevant in today's world. Second year: Subjects like Mathematics for AIML, Data Structures, Stats for Data Science, Computer Networks, Third year: DBMS, ANN, ML operations Some other elevtives are also available and courses like Universal Human Values, POME, EIPR etc. Honestly, POME, EIPR, UHV should have less course credits and probably MCQ type exams (like IC and Yoga in first year). Curriculum is good and updating for applications helped along with projects. Exams are generally once in a month, 1.5 - 2 units for each subject each exam. Lab exams at the very end before CIE marks finalization. Then 2 weeks gap for Lab SEE, then 1 week gap and actual SEE's.

Highest package offered for a chemical engineering is 600000 I guess this aslo a long back. But dont take a hope on placements here in chemical weapons. Do mainly focus on Gate exam. Get good score go for mtech or apply for good core jobs for interview.
