NIT Raipur Detailed Description based on student review

The professors are highly qualified and almost all professors are phd qualified and highly qualified. Also they go deep down for making understand the topics. There are 5 lab classes in a week in which students do the real life application of the concepts thought in class. The number of assignments given are less in number and doesn't match the level of questions given in end sem examinations. Two main examinations(both theory and practical examinations included) are held in 6 months duration and level of viva and practical is strict and end sem and mid sem exams are also justifying the NIT level

From 5th sem students are eligible for placments. There were total of 739 offers made from 101 different companies including big giants like Amazon,adobe offering more than 40lpa placments This year highest placment was of 65lpa from Microsoft. 75-80% of students are placed here. Taking a good placment from college.

Tution fees is close to 5.2 lakh for 4 years this year my fees was 71110 for first sem and 70570 for second sem total 141680 for 1st year.(for general students) and for other category students it's much lower you can check it at nit raipur website. for different courses and category students. I didn't opted for hostel so hostel fees excluded can be checked from above link for in detail Some of my friends have taken its close to 40k-50k for one sem(6 months) For one month mislaneous may be close to 5k for one student Many scholarship programs are always available and it might also include whole college fees students may apply in it. There are many clubs and commities for fest and improvements I had volunteered in the E-cell and it was very great experience and i improved my speaking skills. Internship opportunity are available after 2nd year(4th sem)

1)Fests - a)TechnoCrazy- Said to be the best technical fest of NIT raipur and held during the start of session b)E summit- The E summit is the entrepreneurship cell's event in which various speakers are invited snd held in the best auditorium of raipur DDU. c)Eclecktika - The cultural fest of NIT raipur and consists of EDM nights and Star night. d)Samar - It is the sports fest of NIT raipur and consists of all the sports. Library has all range of books on all topics with latest newspapers and magazines and college books. All the different levels of instruments are always availabe on different departments and are accessible to students. Our clg has all sports facilities and seniors are also very supportive for playing sports Startups are funded in colleges by alumni and professors.

Eligibility- The student must pass 12th boards(any board mentioned in josaa list) and must score the bare minimum for JEE Finding application form & application dates&fees The application form can be easily found at https://www.nitrr.ac.in/ and be easily downloaded in pdf format The frequency and timing of exams In a single semester of 6 months 2 main exams are mid sems & end sems. The level of examination defines the level of NIT clearly.
