KCET Rank : 28k Enquired about college. Found this was the best college for my rank and opted it.being a General category student getting top colleges with this rank is not possible. Even I don't get this in first round option entry but later got alloted in 3 rd round. Happy for this.

Course curriculum is really good here. Reva being a university provides you complete support for research works. The major advantage is that no of students for department is more which provides to access various electives.. For example a college with less no of student may provide 2 electives that too where majority of students opt. But here u will be having choice to access 3 to 4 electives. One of the best thing is that it has give FFCS I.e student can select the faculties for them to teach. For us for electrical machine we had 4 faculties.

It is not compulsory here saying college will provide internship to every student. But good placement training sessions will be conducted. But me and myfreinds were referred to some industry by one of our faculty and we were exposed to internship by them.

Placements for IT and management sector is very good. But Electrical as always lags some what in placement. Students who are interested in non core industries get placed easily. But there will be some core companies visiting us BOSH, TECH MAHENDRA, SCHNEIDER ELECTRONICS And Some more.

REVAMP is famous tech-cul fest where students can participate in inter school competitions. Even department fests will be done where students are free to participate. Student council will be done in each department making your engineering life memorable

College fee for me is about 81000. It's bit difficult to mention fee structure as it varies yearly. Fee structure varies with how you get in to college 1.From KCET 2.From COMED K 3.From RU exam 4.From management or through any sort of other exams It completely varies with how you get in to college. KCET AND COMED K fees are quite less compared to management seats.

College does not offer any scholarship for students. But however government provides education loans. And even scholarships

Campus life is beautiful. Good nature, environment which provides peaceful mind to study. No disturbance from outside environment. A green campus. Theres no discrimination people don't judge here by caste, color, gender religion so don't want to write about this here. Economic status of college is excellent. The lawn maintenance itself is enough to say about the economic condition. Many foreign students do study here. Thus it provides the best to students.

Hostels are good for both boys and girls. Boys have 4 blocks with comfortable rooms. Boys have 3 sharing rooms and 4 sharing rooms. Each rooms have their own bathroom and toilet. With free wifi in hostels. No of rooms in hostels are enough. If students are interested to stay outside good quality PGs are also available.

I was bit worried of ragging on my first day of college. But no such thing was found in campus. Theres always a no in notice board if found ragging can call them. But I dint found any ragging or misbehaving of seniors. They were helpful and polite.

Exams: 3 internals+ 1 externals + 2labs makes you a busy schedule. Internals are of 30 marks scaled to 15 and 5 marks for assignments or the seminars. Best of 2 is considered for internals. Thus 40 marks for assignments and internals. And the sem exam will be for 100 marks and will be scaled to 60 Thus 40+60=100 The major advantage is that you will be having one internal completely online, This makes REVA different from other. which makes student potential high enough to face any challenges in studies.

As you all know about KCET that is karnataka cet. There will be option entry once the results are out and u have to choose your college and department which you are interested to join, further according to your rank and seats available you will be alloted with college and particular branch. Similarle second and third round occurs. Then once you are satisfied with the college either in any of the rounds you can print the challan and pay the KCET fee. Varies with the college. And within 3 to 4 days visit college and do further admission process.

Accessing faculties is easy here. Faculties will be in campus in college hours Ie from morning 8.30 to 4. 30pm some of them will stay even after 4.30 except on Sundays. Students are free to ask any of the doubts related to subjects. And even lectures are well qualified. The ratio of faculty to students ratio is also good.
