Remarks

Overall college is good for studies only. There is no college life and for everything, college charge an amount.

Entrance Preview

If you are non-Karnataka native. you have to give comedk for selection and if you have Karnataka residence certificate you have appeared for CET. I have taken admission in CSE because of the placement.

This college focuses more on study than on extracurricular activities. This college brings you closer to the practical knowledge instead of theoretical knowledge.

College on their own doesn't provide any internship. Students should find internships on their own which. creates a big problem for every student

Placement Experience

Placement is quite a good many companies come to take students. Tata consultancy services are one of the mass recruiters in this college .2 year before Amazon also taken 2 to 3 students. Placement is good for CSE, IS, MECH.

College Events

There is some of the events like an ethnic day, the flash mob consisting of every year's student. There is a tech event take place every year that is technotes in which there are technical event and games. There is a college fest every year that is sambhrama .

No scholarship is provided by the college. College doesn't provide any loan facilities but helps in giving you documents so that loan can be provided.

Campus Life

Campus life is not so good. Being a CSE student girls are more than boys. College doesn't support so. Much of Extracurricular activities. Faculties focus on studies more than other extracurricular activities. Apart from that, there is a sports day celebrated every year.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors opinion are helpful but we the students have no connection with alumni as there is no alumni meet up in college

If you are non Karnataka residence you have to give comedk for selection and if you have Karnataka residence certificate you have appear for CET . For non Karnataka students they have to give comedk and qualify the meritblist of this college. It varies year to year and courses to courses

Faculties are good with having masters degrees. Try to make every student understand and give their best to the Students who are weak in studies.

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.
