Likes

The campus is very beautiful and students are also friendly
The faculty is also nice and approachable
The security of the college is also good

Dislikes

There is uniform in the college which is quite irritating
You can't go inside or outside the college anytime
The food of the mess is not good but you can survive

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose CSE because it has huge scope in future aand comparatively better packages then others. You can say that faculty to student ratio os 100:1 but the faculty members are quite co-oprative and and very educated and skillful in teaching. the term exams were held time to time and they were not that hard to crack

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

You will get atleast one internship from the college and you will get paid for it too . The college is guaranteed to provide internship to everyone bot you will get exploited during you internship period so be careful

Placement Experience

They promise assured placements during the admission but the average package is considerably very low which is only 3 lpa. Only some selected few get to sit in the interviews of good companies . But you can crack good package if you study hard

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a private university so the fees for one semestre is 85000 and one time security is 20000. Unfortunately they do not provide any type of scholarship and financial assistant to students . But they will definately get you a incampus placement

Campus Life

I an definately say that the social life of chitkara is awesome although the campus is not so big. the library is also very good and have fairly enough books for all the students. also the classrooms are pretty good

Admission

Tehervwa not any kind of interview and exam during the admission process. They just see that you should have opted PCM in your +2 and and you have got atleast 60 % marks in it and they give you admisssion

Interview Experience

there was no interview for admission. You can easily get admission with 60% marks in mcp in +2. But it is necessary to appear in JEE to get admission . As you can say that the criteria for admission was pretty straight forward

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Life at Panjab University

Placement Experience:

In our college students need to have 6CGPA to still in campus placements and our college have a Club that overseas all the placement oppertunityies and the placement starts from 7th semester onwards when students starts there seventy semester the company's starts visiting campus for placement and internship opportunity as well

Saga of my life

Placement Experience:

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement 60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

Placement Experience:

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

Nmims Chandigarh for btech review

Placement Experience:

We have avergae package of 12 lpa and 57lpa highest, i am not aware of how mqny placed. As such i have plan to get placed but if things didnt go out as planed then mba or mtech maybe. Our campus just opened recently so there is no much information but our placements are central that means, companies visting mumbai have to visit us too, and u can refer mumbai campus placement for our campus because its counted on central level and not varries campus to campus

Honest insider review - Chitkara University, Punjab

There was no such entrance exam sort of thing. they were just expecting a minimum percentage in the boards examination that too was very low to be honest. i didnt found such difficulty for the admission process as i had scored good marks in the 12th board. The application form was available on the official website of the university. The fees has been increased the last time i toook admission. It took 162,000 for 1 yr of college fees. No reservation benifits were availed by me being a GENERAL. Overall, the admission process was easy i found no diificulty. Although, they can improve the communication hrough the intermediater who accepted my form and took me thorugh the admission process. as it was online, i found some difficulty in communicating with themaslso havinng some misunderstandings with them.....Read More
