Home away from home

Nothing bad remarks about our college. My conclusion is that our college PSG college of technology is the best and our hostel is simply a home away from home. You will not feel homesick unless you are feel to be alone. You will be surrounded with entertainments

The course curriculum is the best. As I am a student our curriculum is entirely different. We will be having industrial training in the morning and we will be having classes from.noon to eve. An also many hand on experience laboratory were also there to experience the real engineering. In our curriculum we also had internships which is mandatory to go work on industries to explore more knowledge and have to do a real time project which will be evaluated for one semester.

No our college doesn't provide internships. They are having PSG industrial institute but there also they will take Diploma people for working in machines. And in labs also they will take lab technician alone and not the students for internships. But they will take research scholars to work for PhD projects under certain staffs but they will also be selected by them.

One of the best institute to get placed when compared to other colleges. More than 150 companies will be coming to recruit people. For example companies like Tata Consultancy service's, cognizant, Tata motors, Accenture, Hyundai, Goldman Sachs, , Cisco, ashok Leyland, wipro, voltas, caterpillar, ABB, PayPal, ford satven, brakes India, and etc many more. The average package they give is about 3.25LPa, the starting will be minimum 3.25, the maximum which I have seen is 21Lpa for paypal for CS student.

Our college is mainly for technical events and some cultural events. The main technical event conducted was kriya , in that machiner, manufacturer, like that many technical events will be there. dramatix, hostel day are some of the cultural events , DX called dramatix the dance performance show which will be Sooper assistance with themw show mime show etcc.it will be awesome.

Fee structure is feasible if you are coming in through counseling. Like if you are selecting a course in counseling and staying in college hostel. It would costs around 1.05lakhs per annum cost including college mess and hostel fees. If you are coming through management or some qouta then the rates will be different. And also luxury rooms are there, if they are taking that it will be much more expensive.

Yes many scholarship are there to avail. Like toppers will be getting some money, and based on your degree you will be eligible for loan facilities. I didn't avail any loans but my friends used to get calls from principal room and will be calling them to sign and get the money

Labs you will be seeing an real time lathe manufacturing real time industrial institute is there. Regarding extra curricular activities all sports like Cricket, football, hockey, sepak tekraw, are there. We are having individual courts for basketball tennis, etc. Our college is one the place for conducting nation level championship in basketball tournament.

The alumni network management is very good they will be collecting the details of the students passing out if college and they will keep a log so that's whatever be the updates all the alumnus will be noted regarding that , and interaction with the seniors is also too good . So that we will get to know about what is happening in and around college.

Exam structure is too cool. We will be having 2 exams in a day for internals that too for 25 marks, 3 internals will be there out of 3, best 2 they will select. And the main exam they will convert 100 to 50, so that it is easy to get good marks. We are following relative grading, so it will be easy to get good grades. And the exam structure will not leave you with a hectic day.

Through counseling I got admission in this institute. My cut off mark is 195.25. for that cutoff I got production Engineering sandwich course in counseling. Once the results came I calculated the cutoff and waited for the college list. Mine is 3rd day of counseling I got this course. All other courses were filled with higher cutoff marks.. once selected we have to pay a token advance of 5000, which is refundable at the time of leaving the college. Then we paid the fees through DD, and within a month college started.

The faculties of my college are well educated persons. Most of them are from IIT and IIM professors who will be pursuing their PhD. Our faculties will teach to any level Like if you are not able to get a point also they will help you to get good understanding of the subject. Many project works will be given to enhance the individual skills.
