Because of its brand name. And many people I know have told me about it as to how good of a college it is to study, and how all the courses are equally good. The teaching faculty, the sports department, extracurricular are amazing. The crowd in cbit is amazing too.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's pretty good! As I did chemical engineering which is fairly a rare branch at least in Hyderabad, my faculty was pretty good. The college should have made the subjects a little more vast and more flexibility for selection or options in subjects, but other than that it was good.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college provides with internships as in the companies are invited for a small drive where they select students who match with there requirements and provide with there respective stipends.
Placement Experience
Cbit is known mostly for its placements, it's has a very dedicated placement cell with three students from each class involved in it as placement coordinators for understanding the student's interests and requirements and helping them out in those areas and getting them placed in there dream companies.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was feasible, as long as I study in the college, but recently they have to change the fee structure, which is basically for the improvement if the college in terms of infrastructure and labs. Which in turn benefits the student to learn and grow more.
Fees and Financial Aid
Students with quota and who fall under the under privileges category have plenty of ways to apply for scholarships, in which they have to appear for an exam and based off of merit their scholarships are given
Campus Life
Campus life is beautiful, there are no rediculus restrictions when it comes to dressing , communication and other day to day activities . Gender ratio is pretty balanced . For extracurriculars, there are endless options and opportunities and all of them are outstanding.
Alumni/Alumna
Every year on the 25 of December an alumni meet is organized as a part if Chaitanya smruti club which organizes carpedium too.And therein information on the cbit website as well regarding the alumni members
Exam Structure
It was how it should be . Two internal exams also known as unit tests , the average of which is takes and is consolidated to 25 marks in which 5 marks are assignments .then the final exams are of 75 marks , which makes a total of 100 marks. Students and given gpas and grades .
Admission
After the results are out ,one is supposed to first go for counseling and certificate verification , where all the certificates are verified and any sports qouta or other qouta us allouted . The when the date of college preference is announcement ,one should put options according to the interest in college and branch . Later they are allouted with a college they are eligible for.
Faculty
As usual , some of my faculty was good and some of them were not up to the mark. Most of them did there best to help students in every which way possible but, Could have done much Better in that aspect too I feel like . But no matter what eventually they the students is ultimately satisfied
