Likes

The most important thing of Banana Hindu University, that I liked is the Campus of BHU.
Banaras Hindu University provides many learning opportunities.
Behaviour of teachers are very pleasant.

Dislikes

Thing that I hate the most is the administration of BHU.
The marks uploading system of BHU is very bad. At 1st they will give you certain marks but then after sometime they will decrease it and you will not even able to do anything.
Paper checking system, they give average marking.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I have got is upto my expectations, I have got the course of my choice . The course teaches us about our day to day life , it almost relates our life . The chapters profoundly teaches us about the philosophical aspects of life and death.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 2500 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many learning opportunities provided by Banaras Hindu University while studying. Many learning workshops are being running throughout the year that facilitates the students to learn while learning.

Placement Experience

As I know Banaras Hindu University is among one of the top university who gave placement for Bachelors degree. Students who pursue his/her bachelor's degree with foreign language gets placement. Apart from foreign languages , students also get placement in IIT BHU , IIM BHU and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

BHU is just opposite to all the colleges in India in terms of fee policy. In every college there is an increase in the fee with years but in BHU fees decreases . As per my I gave approx 2500 for 1year and for 2nd year I will have to pay something like 1950.

Campus Life

Best thing about Banaras Hindu University is the Campus. The campus is very beautiful as well as very dense that is , it is totally covered with trees and it is very greenery. Greenery campus gives us healthy environment as well as Air that keeps our health well.

Hostel Facilities

As Banaras Hindu University is ranked 1st in terms of residential area. Banaras Hindu University has many hostels for students who came from long distance to study. For Faculty of Arts , there are 4 hostels whose names are Lal Bahadur Shastri hostel, Birla A, Birla B and Birla C . Each hostel has approx 300 rooms which is well enough for students.

Hostel Fee: INR 7200 per year

Admission

I gave CUET entrance exam and I scored overall 92 percentile. After getting my CUET result , I registered in BHU portal so that I can appear in the councelling round . After clearing the cutoff round I enrolled for counseling and then I got admission in BHU

Great learning environment, experienced faculty, and value for money education.

Likes

The faculty members are very supportive, highly experienced, and always ready to help students with their queries.
The course fee is extremely affordable and provides great value for money for students in this region.
The campus has a peaceful learning environment with a good gender ratio of around 1:1 for boys and girls.

Dislikes

On-campus placement opportunities are limited, and students mostly need to look for off-campus jobs.
Campus infrastructure needs modernization, including better Wi-Fi access and updated lab equipment.
More practical exposure and industry-oriented training programs should be added to the curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers all essential topics required for higher studies. The curriculum is detailed and helps build strong subject basics. Teaching methods are traditional, so adding more interactive sessions and skill-based learning would be a great improvement. Exams take place every semester along with internal class tests, which helps in continuous evaluation without extra stress

A great place to learn journalism and media

Likes

Our curriculum is Industry oriented which includes academic as well as practical learning.
Our college conducted regular workshops, seminars and guest lectures by media professionals.
Experienced and supportive faculty members. All teachers are approachable and provide personal guidance.

A Balanced Review of My College Journey

Likes

The college regularly organizes seminars, cultural events, and technical activities, helping students improve their confidence and skills.
The library, computer labs, and classrooms are well-maintained, providing a good environment for learning.
The teachers are experienced and explain concepts clearly. They are approachable and supportive whenever students need guidance.

Dislikes

Some practical sessions need better equipment and more hands-on training to match industry needs.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our College are decent. Students become eligible from the 5th/6th semester, and companies from media, PR, and digital marketing fields visit for recruitment. The placement cell also provides training, internships, and guidance. After graduation, I plan to explore both campus and off-campus opportunities in media and communication fields.

Field visits and professor are understandable
We attends many fields for exploring and figure out
Timings are perfect and we enjoy the lectures as well

Canteen food the only thing I don't like about my college

They give us lots of opportunities before summer vacations in terms of internship and after the final semester of exams they take our interview and give exact amount of opportunities and don't disappoint us

Likes

The faculty of the college is very supportive and understanding
The campus is also very nice you can easily find your comfort in that campus
Classrooms have unique facilities with smart board in every class and every class room is air conditioned

Dislikes

The first thing I don't like is the college food from canteen because it doesn't not have many options
The second thing I don't like is the sports facilities in the college because there are not every sports available specially football is not available
The third i don't like when the mobile network doesn't come in the college and we face a lot of problems for this

Placement Experience:

Let me talk about the placement of this college the placements and internship facilities of this college are very good for every student who are studying in this college the famous companies such as AVP news ,Aaj Tak , the truth 24 and various news channel comes for placement and internships almost each student gets placed

Amazing

Likes

I liked the safe enviornment of the college
All the teachers are very supportive and helpful
The concepts are easily understood by the students

Dislikes

The variety of the food can be more but its not so
There are many activities which can be restricted
No fixed timing od dispersal sometimes you have to be extra time

If i had to talk about placement its really nice amd many deserving students are also getting it amd easily placing over different places but it is also on students how much they wirk hard for it. Thank you

Likes

The fees is affordable in comparison to Delhi University.
The scholarship scheme is definitely helpful for those who are economically weak.
The main campus has a central library so its quite helpful

Dislikes

The books in the central library are quite outdated
The lack of infrastructure in the affiliated colleges of AU
No merit based scholarship scheme available for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm from humanities background so the course is quite relevant for me. The course is quite outdated however it's the same for most of the universities. the curriculum should be aligned with the competitive exams and the teaching methods should be more inclusive about the competitive exams so that the student can prepare well not only for the present course but also further upcoming exams.

Likes

I like their distance education so that students can complete their graduation
Student can continue their studies without taking a lot of burden
Also good campus and teachers for a healty education

Sometimes they gives improper marks not good
Need to improve somehow paper checking type
Also need to improve online system so that we can study

Remarks:

We should always look on the positive side as the college is our second home. It provides us with all the amenities that a student requires immediately after completing their studies in school. All total, the college is good.

If you are really passionate you will get amazing opportunities to get experience.

I have applied in 5 college such as BHU AU DU BBAU and vishwa bharati Many for BA and BSc course through CUET UG, I got BHU and AU but at the end I have switched to BHU because of it is closer to my home and well known for me. I got seat in AU but same time BHU also, so I have to decide one. I put my seat for upgradation and then BVoc HTM. From 2022, there is only one entrance exam to take admission in all central state University in india. That is CUET common university entrance test conducted by NTA. Then each university start their admission counseling registration and further process of seat allotment and confirmation....Read More

Excellent Place for higher education

My college provide best education and hostel facility in india.Security is very good. Managment is very good.Transport facility inside the campus in now very good. Placements : The institute actually has very good placement records due to its outstanding alumni and also due to the presence of placement and training cell working day and night to indulge its students with skills and leadership. So, the placements in our college have never been a problem. Infrastructure : With almost hundred years on the calendar, our campus is luxurious from inside and filled with modern day necessities from inside. We have every resource that a student wants in his college life such as largely spaced room, Wi-Fi everywhere around the campus and many more things. So, the campus is unmatched. Faculty : The faculty members are nice, and I found them very helping and motivating. On the other hand, the course curriculum is a bit boring but essential too. A load of academics is very less compared to other IITs and hence students can do anything they want and could carry on their interest. I feel very proud to be a part of IIT BHU. Other : There are three main fests in our college, Kashiyatra, Technex and Spardha. All the fests are held at very high level.
