Likes

Thing I liked the most if environment here which has a lot and lot of greenery with many trees.
Faculty is also very good and cooperative .
There is temple in the middle where students gets peace .

Dislikes

Slow and long administrative process for everything
A lot of outsiders visit the campus daily making it overcrowded.
Behavior of some fellow students which are not soo friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus of curriculum of my course has influenced my decision. The curriculum has a diverse range of topic covering many aspects of life. Classes could be made more fruitful by adding a touch of technology in it. Class are on daily basis with regular exams and exam have a level of difficulty which could be tackled by continuous study.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 2500 per year

Placement Experience

As I'm in the first semester I don't have any information regarding this . There is placement cell for the students which conduct events for placement. Some courses have a pn average placement of about 5to 6 lacs per annum package. My plans after getting degree is opt for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for 1st year is 2500 rupees which decrease in every year . Scholarship are available for the beneficiary. Scholarship for sc and st are available. Up Scholarship is also available. Earn while learn scheme is available for the students.

Campus Life

Festival started with deepotsav ,then came our freshers and now the festival of holi is celebrated. We have 4 libraries available for us where we could get a lot of books. We have smart classes for us and auditorium are also available.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels facilities are available but all students do not get it as it is available in limited quantity. In one room 2 students live and each hostel has there canteen and mess where they get both veg and non veg options. Registration for hostel begins during the time of counselling and it cost around 5000rupees for year excluding food.

Hostel Fee: INR 5000 per year

Admission

The admission process is a bit lenthy as it goes through a very long process. Eligibility criteria for bachelor's of arts is student must be 12th pass with 50% and must appear in an entrance text names CUET . Student must opt for cumpulsory English language and general test as the counselling will be based on this two subjects score. Application for exam will be available on NTA official wesite. Reservations are available to the beneficiaries. Exam level is not too difficult , if student has studied well in 11th and 12 they will face no problem throughout the exam. I think the counselling process should be made faster as it takes a very long time.

Great learning environment, experienced faculty, and value for money education.

Likes

The faculty members are very supportive, highly experienced, and always ready to help students with their queries.
The course fee is extremely affordable and provides great value for money for students in this region.
The campus has a peaceful learning environment with a good gender ratio of around 1:1 for boys and girls.

Dislikes

On-campus placement opportunities are limited, and students mostly need to look for off-campus jobs.
Campus infrastructure needs modernization, including better Wi-Fi access and updated lab equipment.
More practical exposure and industry-oriented training programs should be added to the curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers all essential topics required for higher studies. The curriculum is detailed and helps build strong subject basics. Teaching methods are traditional, so adding more interactive sessions and skill-based learning would be a great improvement. Exams take place every semester along with internal class tests, which helps in continuous evaluation without extra stress

Our curriculum is Industry oriented which includes academic as well as practical learning.
Our college conducted regular workshops, seminars and guest lectures by media professionals.
Experienced and supportive faculty members. All teachers are approachable and provide personal guidance.

A Balanced Review of My College Journey

Likes

The college regularly organizes seminars, cultural events, and technical activities, helping students improve their confidence and skills.
The library, computer labs, and classrooms are well-maintained, providing a good environment for learning.
The teachers are experienced and explain concepts clearly. They are approachable and supportive whenever students need guidance.

Dislikes

Some practical sessions need better equipment and more hands-on training to match industry needs.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our College are decent. Students become eligible from the 5th/6th semester, and companies from media, PR, and digital marketing fields visit for recruitment. The placement cell also provides training, internships, and guidance. After graduation, I plan to explore both campus and off-campus opportunities in media and communication fields.

Likes

The faculty of the college is very supportive and understanding
The campus is also very nice you can easily find your comfort in that campus
Classrooms have unique facilities with smart board in every class and every class room is air conditioned

Dislikes

The first thing I don't like is the college food from canteen because it doesn't not have many options
The second thing I don't like is the sports facilities in the college because there are not every sports available specially football is not available
The third i don't like when the mobile network doesn't come in the college and we face a lot of problems for this

Let me talk about the placement of this college the placements and internship facilities of this college are very good for every student who are studying in this college the famous companies such as AVP news ,Aaj Tak , the truth 24 and various news channel comes for placement and internships almost each student gets placed

Likes

I liked the safe enviornment of the college
All the teachers are very supportive and helpful
The concepts are easily understood by the students

Dislikes

The variety of the food can be more but its not so
There are many activities which can be restricted
No fixed timing od dispersal sometimes you have to be extra time

Likes

The fees is affordable in comparison to Delhi University.
The scholarship scheme is definitely helpful for those who are economically weak.
The main campus has a central library so its quite helpful

Dislikes

The books in the central library are quite outdated
The lack of infrastructure in the affiliated colleges of AU
No merit based scholarship scheme available for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm from humanities background so the course is quite relevant for me. The course is quite outdated however it's the same for most of the universities. the curriculum should be aligned with the competitive exams and the teaching methods should be more inclusive about the competitive exams so that the student can prepare well not only for the present course but also further upcoming exams.

If you are really passionate you will get amazing opportunities to get experience.

I have applied in 5 college such as BHU AU DU BBAU and vishwa bharati Many for BA and BSc course through CUET UG, I got BHU and AU but at the end I have switched to BHU because of it is closer to my home and well known for me. Excellent Place for higher education

My college provide best education and hostel facility in india.Security is very good. Managment is very good.Transport facility inside the campus in now very good. Placements : The institute actually has very good placement records due to its outstanding alumni and also due to the presence of placement and training cell working day and night to indulge its students with skills and leadership. So, the placements in our college have never been a problem. Infrastructure : With almost hundred years on the calendar, our campus is luxurious from inside and filled with modern day necessities from inside. We have every resource that a student wants in his college life such as largely spaced room, Wi-Fi everywhere around the campus and many more things. So, the campus is unmatched. Faculty : The faculty members are nice, and I found them very helping and motivating. On the other hand, the course curriculum is a bit boring but essential too. A load of academics is very less compared to other IITs and hence students can do anything they want and could carry on their interest. I feel very proud to be a part of IIT BHU.
