The choose this course because from my childhood i want to become an software engineer that's why i choose this course which is now too much good for my future. The difficulty level of papers are not too much it is easy to score 7-8 CGPA for the average students.

Internships Opportunities

There are lots of internship opportunities are available for the students of fifth semester like summer internship programs. This university provides numerous opportunities for just enhance skills for placed easily in lots of companies.

Placement Experience

The placement rate of this university is too good.The average package is around 6LPA and the highest package is around 40LPA. Students which are in seventh semester become eligible for placement. for campus placement companies like hcl, dell, wipro, capegmini....my plan after getting the degree is to appear in gate exam and get admission into iit and get degree of mtech and placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for btech cse is around 8 lacs including all services fees and other charges.there is no any university scholarships available for the students but university grants students to get scholarships from the central government and punjab government.

Campus Life

The overall experience in this university is good and the university has a nice campus and well maintained clean campus.The infrastructure of university is too good.I went to my department first day and it was the best day of my life because the people are so good and helpful. professors and mentors are so helpful.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms of hostels are well maintained and there is also wifi is available for students. In hostels there is common room with tv, water cooler, geysers and also some indoor games are available for students. The quality of food of mess is good.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

For admission in chitkara university the minimum percentage in class 12th is 60% in physics, chemistry and maths and also students have appear in jee mains exam.The application form for admission is uploaded on the website of university and the application form fee is around 2100.

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Placement Experience:

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement 60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

Placement Experience:

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

Nmims Chandigarh for btech review

Placement Experience:

We have avergae package of 12 lpa and 57lpa highest, i am not aware of how mqny placed. As such i have plan to get placed but if things didnt go out as planed then mba or mtech maybe. Our campus just opened recently so there is no much information but our placements are central that means, companies visting mumbai have to visit us too, and u can refer mumbai campus placement for our campus because its counted on central level and not varries campus to campus

Honest insider review - Chitkara University, Punjab

There was no such entrance exam sort of thing. they were just expecting a minimum percentage in the boards examination that too was very low to be honest. i didnt found such difficulty for the admission process as i had scored good marks in the 12th board. The application form was available on the official website of the university. The fees has been increased the last time i toook admission. It took 162,000 for 1 yr of college fees. No reservation benifits were availed by me being a GENERAL. Overall, the admission process was easy i found no diificulty. Although, they can improve the communication hrough the intermediater who accepted my form and took me thorugh the admission process. as it was online, i found some difficulty in communicating with themaslso havinng some misunderstandings with them.....Read More
