College management is not that great as compared to other colleges but the environment is pretty good as it is situated outside the bangalore city with greeneries around and a huge campus.
Entrance Preview
Heard from friends as this is a good college. Verified from the websites and the CET log book from Karnataka. Seniors also helped us find this college. Then after verification found out that this college actually had the good campus, lecturers, Infrastructure and extracurricular activities and transportation and hence selected this college
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was based on the syllabus from Visvesvariah Technological University and the curriculum had good coverage of topics along with good lecturers. I had completed my computer science engineering from here and lecturers taught us programming languages like C, C++, Java, and .NET
Internships Opportunities
Internship will be provided with some companies, but it depends on the individuals to clear the discussion to get selected for the internship in that company
College Events
College Fest - Celebrated once in a year and will have huge fun and activities. Cricket tournament - Organized in every semester (twice a year), gets to know many people and good fitness with unlimited fun. Paper Presentation - National level paper presentation will be organized and IEEE papers will be presented and evaluated, Great learning, exposure and interaction with other college students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible. CET fees will be collected from the government which is approximately 35K. College fees will be collected from college which is approximately 12K. Comed-K entrance is little expensive which is approximately 1.0L. General entrance is much more expensive which is approximately 1.5L
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship will be provided based on the caste reservations according to VTU norms. Am not aware of the loan facilities
Campus Life
Campus life is awesome, I would say it will be the best moments to cherish. It has different diversified extra curricular activities like Cricket, Football, Debates, Paper Presentations and so on.. which gives tremendous knowledge and exposure on the subjects and on physical fitness.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are OK and mess food is good. There are two hostels one is on the campus and the other one is outside the campus which is about 10KM outside the college. Hostel which is inside the campus has good mess food, outside the hostel mess food is not that great. We have a college bus playing from and to outside the hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, They are very helpful and an alumnus meet will be arranged once in a year, where all the alumni's are invited by college management and will have a discussion on the current situation and growth of college.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is based on the university guidelines. We had both internal and external exams along with labs. Internal will be for 25 marks. External will be for 100 marks. lab external will be for 50 marks. project work in the final semester will have 300 marks
Admission
Admission process for Karnataka CET students are much easier. 1. Select the college in the counselling. 2. Go to the college along with government seat selection letter. 3. Fill in the application form along with marks cards submitted and admission is done
Faculty
Faculty of the college was very good. I had completed my computer science engineering from here and lecturers taught us programming languages like C, C++, Java, and .NET Faculty were very friendly and were able to clarify the doubts and suggest us the good books to read.
