Remarks

The college neess to improve a lot in teaching, facilities provided to students, upgradung the college systems and placements.

Entrance Preview

I was impressed the way college was advertised.I saw repeated advertisements of the college in tv and newspapers. when i did some research I found the infrastructure of the college very good. Also when I contacted the college they were very nice and provided all the details.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

It was not upto the mark. The faculties were more focussed on getting the syllabus completed rather than providing knowledge to the students. Proper curriculum was not there. College changed its schedule from time to time. Examination dates, holiday notices were not provided properly.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is provided only in some branches. There is no stipend instead the students have to pay to get themselves enrolled in the internships.

Placement Experience

1.5

placements for management courses were about 40 percent. Engineering placements varied. CSE had better placememts compared to others at about 50 percent. Mechanical branch had 20 percent most of which were not their core companies.Civil Engg had about 5 percent all placed in an IT company.

College Events

2

Universumm is the main cultural fest organised every 2 to 3 years with reputed singers performing on stage. Drama events,Singing events, street play and several other sports eventa were orgaised each and every year. Computer gaming events were also organised.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is too expensive compared to the facilities and the ammentities they provide. If you pay late fees then they charge a fine of Rs500 per day. The principal never provided extension dates to the needy students. Additional charges were levied upon the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

No the college did not provide any scholarships . Though they would provide all the documents needed for loan.

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ratio is about 70:30. Girls have a lot of restrictions as they have to enter the hostel before 6pm while boys have to enter the hostel before 9.30pm. Robotics competitions and debates are organised once in a while. Sports facilities are not upto the mark.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

The hostel was average. The room walls were never whitewashed. The cleaners always hide somewhere whenever we call them for maintenance and cleaning purposes. The food was worse. The same type of food was served every day. Once in two months, they would make Chinese food.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni meet was organised once in 3 years maybe. While the seniors were heloful whwnever we needed help.

Exam Structure

The exams were what every college has. A notice was issued a week before the exams about the schedule of subjects. Practical exams were held before the subjects exam.60 marks was semester while 40 marks were Internal. Out of the 60 marks students had to score 24 to get passed.

Admission

There was a regional office near my location. After getting all the details from the centre, I took admission by submitting my documents at the regional office.I paid a booking amount of 10000Rs via demand draft and my admission was confirmed by the university. The centre does not charge any fees.

Faculty

2

Some of the faculties were very good while most of them were average to poor. The accent of most of the teachers was not clear. They use the local tones most of the times to teach the students. Faculties had sufficient qualification but they lacked the knowledge

Placement Experience:

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had interest in full stack development, wanted to create websites. This course has collaboration with Xebia which provides a better learning approach for full stack No much improvement if the teacher appointed is great Timings of exam is really average but it is somewhat easy. Lookout for some exams because the faculty sometimes makes tough and tricky paper just to fail students
