Likes

The fully flexible credit system, the fests, the dance club
Exam patterns and the attendance procedure
Sports facilities and food canteens inside the university

Dislikes

Too long to walk from one block to another
Pretty crowded during busy times and can be irritating
Climate of Vellore is very unimaginable and keeps bothering

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is so good and the main reason for choosing this course and college is their ffcs system where you can choose your own faculties. It gives you more freedom in choosing your time table as per choice. When you choose faculties by yourself and not any blacklisted ones, the classes will come or pretty good. And good facilities will give you good marks in exams

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There's no special fee waiver as scholarship, but it depends on your rank on viteee, good rank can get you into a good category where you can get a good fee. There are categories from one to five varying from 1.5 lakhs to 5 lakhs .

Campus Life

The two main events and fests are very popular and are gravitas and Riviera respectively . Gravitas is a complete tech fest and Riviera is a cultural fest. both are great in their own aspects and give good exposure for external colleges too. There's vit premier league, a sports competition for all the sports including all the students willing to participate. There are around 150 clubs

Admission

The admission process was pretty easy and simple according to the ranks you obtain in viteee exams. You can find the forms and all in the links they provide in your mail. The frequency of mid sems and sem exams will be with a gap of one month and which is prettyy manageable because the second mid sem will be an open book exam.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.
