What Students Say

Likes

The college environment which is very friendly and protected .
The infrastructure that the college has in order to provide with best education facilities
Faculty of different departments are at a great level .

Dislikes

The college campus tends to be more indulged in co curricular side
The classes are tend to be short for students as students are more in no.
Some professors are strict which sometimes lead to absentism

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

My course is bcom , I took this course in shivaji because the faculty of commerce is good in my college , they are really friendly and supportive, you can ask them for help anytime . The syllabus is also futuristic and job oriented

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 16000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for my course , which is bcom , is around 16000 , additional fees for semester end exam , it depends on the subjects you have chosen , in my case it was 1210 . It can be lower or higher it is totally upto you

Campus Life

3.5

We are provided with very great infrastructure like science block i.e. jijabai block which is filled with all the advance technologies. On the contrary we can find a great amount of co curricular activities that take place mostly in the month of December till March . Students in the college has formed a portal which provides a support to the students facing any difficulties .

Admission

If you want to study in Delhi University, then you have to give CUET exam conducted by NTA , it is not that tough , you just have to go through your 12th books thoroughly. If u are from commerce or humanities then u have to score 550+ ( out of 800) and for science 400+ ( out of 600)

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well
