Course Curriculum Overview
Vit is a very good college. It has very good infrastructure for studies. Curriculum constitutes of Foundation core, discipline core open elective etc differ between streams. Curriculum gives us a knowledge about the subject & let's us imply it in really life knowledge. Has the curriculum is Relative grading it is very easy to get a good cgpa Exams difficulty is moderate. It has 2 mids. One is closed book another is open book.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are of different types one is industrial internships which you go offline & work & which is graded as well. Another summer internship can be done in the break which is also credited & graded. Innternships we can get easily if we are in any clubs through club recommendation easy to get internship . Machine learning,Data analytics,UI/UX,devloper many software fields Projects be given on there field of job. Data scientist will be made understand how a task can be performed in company etc
Placement Experience
Students become eligible to placement from 3rd year last sem. They start doing internships before it. 4th year 1st sem proper big companies starts to come. Companies visit are TCS,Google,etc software companies. Highest package this year is 80L. Average package is 8L. 90% of students gets placed in our campus. My plan is to get a job after degree
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees differentiates between the rank and the category is given to you. Category 1 gets tution fees of 2/anum category2 of 2.5Lakhs & category 3 of 3L and category 5 of 5Lakhs. . It is better how less your rank is and th stream you select. Complete cost of my education is around 25Lakhs for four years including hostel & tution fees. Scholarship is given if u get VITEE les than 509 rank. Other scholarships as State topper or Sports quota is available.
Campus Life
There are two types of fest one is cultural & technical fest. Cultural happens in February called as Rivera. Technical in September called as Gravitas. There are wide variety of clubs & chapter. There are nearly 100+ clubs in our college. Accessibility of books in library is easy & friendly. Library blocks has 2 floors consists of wide variety of books making easy fr students to study. Sports accessibility is very good. It has 2 football & basketball courts & 1 big cricket grounds. There exists Rotaract clubs where we teach orphanage students on Sundays creating a social impact
Hostel Facilities
Hostel provides a 1bed,2,3,4,6bed rooms AC & Non AC aswell. First year hostel is allocated randomly. Second year onwards it depends on your cgpa. Mess quality is okay. It is less spicy. South Indians might not like it. Menu is available on Messit app. Registration happens online fr freshers & offline fr other years based on cgpa rank. Locality to ren a pg is opposite to vit. They rent rooms. Which is of minimum 10K/ month
Admission
Eligibility 12th Pass with 60% percentage of Maths, Physics, Chemistry . Application form available in the Vit website No reservations benefits in the college it is based on the VITEE entrance exam. VITEE is a 3 hour exams consisting of 180 questions and there is no negative marking in the exams. Difficulty is medium & can be easily done by students who are preparing for JEE. I Got 19K rank & Got 3rd Category fees of 500000/anum including hostel . I got CSE core branch. They r different specialisation available in CSE which is very much useful like Data science,Block chain,etc. College is huge as well as the Intake of students. There is high competition due to high students
