Likes

Campus infrastructure and nature, also the hostels are good.
Clubs and chapters where we can socialize with people and improve ourselves.
FFCS , we can choose our time table and faculty.

Dislikes

The unequal rules between boys and girls.
Campus outing timings and campus in timings.
Strict rules towards girls about the dresses, we are students and we will wear decently only but it not okay to put harsh restrictions on dress code.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is good at teaching but when it comes to the improvement I guess the should focus more upon real life scenario based situations and make us prepare according to it . The exams are fair enough but papers vary according to the level of difficulty and length of it, i would be nice if their is a sufficient time to read the paper because invigilator distribute the papers late and take them on time so we don't get enough time.

Placement Experience

As far as I heard from my seniors, the placements are good here , good return of investment and average package is about 8 to 9 lakhs about as the student intake is high so their is a lot of competition for it also due to lockdown their is a problem of recision so if I don't get a good placement i would go for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

According to my fees structure plus hostel and mess mostly it will be around 4,00,000. Return of investment is the average package of 8 lakhs, due to revision i am not sure about the placements and opportunities.

Campus Life

3.5

College life is good here, technical fests and cultural fests make us learn how to manage and improve our speaking skills. The extracurricular courses and the clubs chapters are good to explore and improve ur skills also we get to socialize with people.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are affordable and they are fair enough. Hostel allotment and rooms and study rooms are good and they are affordable but the hostel mess is not that great as it sometimes causes food poisoning to many students.

Hostel Fee: INR 130748 per year

Admission

PCM (maths physics and chemistry)should above 75% of 10th and 12th standard Vit vellore main page you can find all the details about the admission process. Areas to improve is that the admission process takes alot of time, maybe more adequate information should be given to the students

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.
