Course Curriculum Overview

3

I wanted to go research field and being PCM student chemical was the best option. VIT gives the freedom to do projects with PHD scholars and faculty and even provides entrepreneurship opportunities to students which is great. One of the major reason I chose VIT was the research projects that you can do. You can always approach a faculty for the same and if you are confused as to where to start you can always ask them for a topic or a way to start. The exams aspect is not too great as in every month we have papers with tests and assignments in between leaving less time for extra cirricular activites.

Internships Opportunities

4

recently while continuing with the college i worked in an company which is funded by vit only and worked for 3 months as graphic designer which was great. you can always work small roles in these companies to improve your resume and gain some experience.

Placement Experience

3

the employment opprotunities are there but i ll be applying externally too becuase the companies are moslty manufacturing units and i want to go in research. there are programs for interview preparations and all which i will be joining but you always opt to leave it too.

Fees and Financial Aid

The employments opportunites are more for CSE but major companies does come for other majors too. for majors like ece and mechanical they can sit for cse too giving them more freedom in employment. Scholarships are also there and with good grades you get aids in fees also. but being the private instituition the aid is nothing compared to the fees we give.

Campus Life

4

the club and chapters in VIT is very great. with 99 clubs and chapters you have tremendous opportunities in cultural and other aspects too like designing and dance. you also go for competitions with technical chapters and get night lab for experiments which is real fun. it helps to develop the soft skill which is great for resume.

Hostel Facilities

2

the hostel is not so great. the food is bad and with strict in timing and out timing i dont feel like an adult at all. there is restrictive mind for dresses also as girls are not allowed to wear strip or crop tops and scolded badly even if you show a little bit of skin. if in college ,which is like the place which shapes you mind and thinking alot, people say that its girls fault too show skin then i think we will continue to live an society where girls will always be blamed. we are not allowed to take pgs which should be our decision but they keep it too strict.

Admission

For the admission process i had to give an entrance paper which was VITEEE and there i got my rank around 20k in which you get 1 st category. The paper was fine but someone with 45k also got a 1st category which doesnt seem fair to me and we werent given the answer key or proper markings for the paper which wasnt fine. I expected my ranking to be around 10k but with no evaluation process i couldnt argue. I think in that sense VITEEE can improve.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
