Likes

Course work of my branch is manageable and not hectic.
Students get lot of time to prepare for other competetive exams.
College also promotes startup ideas and some of startups are incubated in Innovation Garage

Dislikes

Hostel facilities can be improved and rooms have to be renovated.
Mess food is not that great but manageable
There is no proper bridge or a medium to connect and communicate with college Alum.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course of Biotechnology is generally well regarded for its relevance and it offers a blend of theoritical Knowledge and practical skills for both real-world applications and further academic pursuits. One of theket aspect is that it encompasses different disciplines such as biology, chemistru and engineering providing students with a holistic understanding of biotechnology and its applications Moreover the curriculum emphasizes hands-on experience through laboratory work and projects. Additonally curriculum provides strong foundation for higher studies in Biotechnology and advanced degrees or research positions in academia or industry. However there are areas of improvement in course curriculum and teaching methods. One suggestion is to increase emphasis on practical skills like Data analysis and bioinformatics as these skills are becoming increasingly important in current industry.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 125 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is different for Indian Students and Dasa/ICCR Students. For indian students the tuition fee is Rs.62,500 for semester and overall it is 5 lakhs for 8 semesters of Btech. For DASA students it is around 3000-4000 dollers per semester. NIT Warangal provides financial aid for the students having family annual income below 5 lakhs. If annual family income is between 1 to 5 laks you would have to pay 1/3rd of the tuition fee. If annual family income is less than 1 lakh you are exempted to pay the tuition fee. Also you would get your tuition fee reimbursed if you have good academic performance and get merit scholarship. you would get internships at start of your 3rd year and placements at start of your 4th year. Intrernship stipends ranges from 30k to 1.5 lakh per month

Campus Life

College life is well balanced between academics and extra circulars like societies, fests and club activities. You would get access to over 1.8 lakh books in central library . Also you can avail books not only related to your courses but also novels. Classrooms are well equipped with projectors and white boards with a well furnished desks Also you get to participate in sports events and inter nit competerions Most of the clubs are student run.

Admission

Jee percentile should be more than 97 to get in to NIT Warangal You have to fill Josaa application and fill out the colleges you wish to join in order. Based on your preferences college will be allotted to you in 6 rounds. If u wish to stop you can freeze your seat and if you wish to continue you can prefer float or slide options for further allotment

Worth Every Minute

Likes

The college management is friendly with yhe student
The faculty has better experience in subject
The faculty were helping students in improving there skills

Dislikes

College management doesnt give hall tickets when they have low fee dues
The canteen must provide more food for student
They doesnt provide sport time for students

The curriculum is updated regularly with topics that match current technology trends. We get enough time to complete assignments and improve our understanding. Internal assessments and presentations also help in overall learning. I feel more elective subjects can be added to give students wider career options.

Modern campus with a good learning environment

Likes

Coding is part of everyday life here so you naturally improve with time
Everyone is encouraged to build projects instead of only studying theory
Teachers are friendly and always available for guidance

Dislikes

The workload can feel heavy specially before hackathons
Campus life is more focused on academics than entertainment
We still have to wait for the first official placement season

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is one of the best parts of studying at NIAT. The subjects are designed according to what companies are looking for today, so we get to learn the latest technologies and ai tools. Classes are not limited to just lectures. Wr start using laptop from the first sem itself and most of our learning happens through coding, practical sessions, and real projects. This hands on approach makes learning more interesting and helps us understand concepts much better than just studying from books

Can choose the college with good pros and cons

Likes

I like the infrastructure of our college it good to see .
There will be a veryy wide place and sports for students who are intrested is supported.
College hostel as a the very good and hygiene rooms for girls abd boys .

Dislikes

I dont like the fee that is too much in our college .
For every semester there will be a semester fee that is 1400 it is more compare to other college semester fees.
They make fine if we not pay the semester fee till the date.

Placement Experience:

The placements in our campus are good . Studenta get campus placement from 4th year . The drives are conducted for them . The companies like amazon,wipro,skyde,TCS and more visit ou campus for hiring students . The companies give the offers till 10 lakh per annnum . The highest package in our college is 17 lakh per annum and lowest package is 6 lak per annum. 60 percentage of students get placed in our college every year. I plan to get a good electrical skilled job in my core after degree.

My college Ride

Likes

First thing I like about our college is Infrastructure.
I also like the clubs and events for improving students creativity and leadership qualities
I also like faculty coordination with students for clear understanding.

Dislikes

Lab system maintanence is poor sometimes
Some faculty are not skilled and cannot communicate properly.
Library is not accessible for final years frequently due to some rules.

Placement Experience:

Placements of this year college are moderate and still going.Companies approach our college Example: Capgemini, Infosys, Accenture and cognizant.We have to clear some rounds to select in interviews.Im still not offered any placement and trying to get in next companies.Otherwise my plans would be doing masters in abroad.

My college story

Likes

New infrastructure when I joined it is like a old structure now they are improving it
Teacher's are very nyc to us I don't know about the juniors
Peaceful no sound pollution u can enjoy it as much as u want

Dislikes

Favortism like some teachers only care about some students
Money everything should come from the student's pocket
They force u to pay the college fee as soon as possible or else they put lot of charges

Placement Experience:

Final year is eligible for campus selection Microsoft turtle Accenture wipro mahindra etc., near to 50 54 lpa is highest but it is out side the campus lowest is 2 lpa 100 people 40 percentage will get job Job and bussiness don't know When will be the layoff so sidde hustlel

Thats my college

Likes

One of the most liked thing is the support from the faculty, being as a mentor, in projects or the studies in every aspect they are excellent
Another thing is the transportation facilities. And they even provide free bus at 8 pm to the closest metro station
The sports facilities here are very good i play sports every week and there are inter college competions

Dislikes

The college is small its around 30 acers and it is in the middle of the city
The college is always under construction they want expand the college so it is always under construction
The exam timetable it goes like 1 and half months it wastes my time

Placement Experience:

The eligibility of placements is to not have any backlog, and the placements are good enough. Companies like google, microsoft, de shaw, JP Morgan Chase, qualcomm, amd, synopsis, MRF, HBL, TCS and many more companies come to hire the students in 2021 we got 97 LPA by a foreign company around 85% of people get placed who are eligible my plan is to do my PHD in the foreign universities

The overall infrastructure and the lecturers were really good.They explains everything clearly until every student understand.And there are labs also where we can learn more practical things lively. There is empty behind the college where itspeacefu.

Dislikes

The only thing I dislike about this is it is an women's If the college is co education, girls can understand everything like how to behave with them and they can easily understand what is what and what's going on outside.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year we are eligible for placements.Not only for college placements our faculty also provide assistance for off campus jobs.They also provide training for the jobs .They encourage us a lot to get placement.
