- No proper Hostel Accommodation provided.others need to stay out of campus.
- Companies visited this year are less compared to last year. low placement percentage.
- College doesn't take care of student studies .It is upto student whether he reads or not.
Course Curriculum Overview
Classes will start within a week from registeration .class timetable and syllubus if the particular semester will be released in college official website.We will have labs atleast weekly twice .Faculty are very experienced.faculty helps us in study and intership related issues also.We need to maintain attendance otherwise you will not be allowed to write exams .Each semester will be for around 5 months.In labs i think they need to provide more facilities and neccesary equipment.sometimes faculty wont take care of classes then you need to prepare on your own .
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are provided in 5th semester.Less companies visit for Internships.In a class nearly 20% students get internship. Faculty refers internship offers . we have credits for internship in 5th semester.Companies visited are Deboy offered 75,000 stipend, Visa offered 50,000 stipend and DEshaw offered 1,00,000 stipend.
Placement Experience
In 5th semester Internship opportunities are provided and placements at start of 4th year or 7th sem.Companies visited are Deboy, Visa, Deloitte, Texas ,Wipro ,Adobe ,Infosys ,Amazon .Highest package offered is 58 lac per annum and average packages are 17 lac per annum.Nearly 80% students are placed from all branches.Some less internship opportunities are provided compared to other colleges or institute.
Fees and Financial Aid
We need to pay nearly 1,62,000 per annum .If you belongs to any reservation category then fees will be reduced like for students having family annual income less than 1,00,000 are required to pay 10,000 per annum.we can apply some government scholarships like NSP ,ONGC based on eligibility criteria and private scholarships like ffe,reliance scholarship etc.ONGC scholarship will give 48,000 per year where as NSP scholarship depends on your reservation category and family annual income.FFE and Reliance vary from 50k to 70k.
Campus Life
We have central India largest event ECLECTIKA happing for 3 days in feb month.SAMAR,another sports fest held for 3 days in the month of jan.We will have interbranch and intercollege tournments .we can read books in library but to take for some days we need to have IDcard.In classrooms we have smart board and projectors installed.Professors use projector for better teaching.We have sports committe named shaurya which will conduct tournments .We have new sports building under construction and it completes in 2 months .Students run these clubs and committes which builds our confidence levels and team work .
Hostel Facilities
First major problem with the NIT Raipur is poor hostel accommodation.Only 25% students get hostel and that is based on merit . In first year it is based on jee main rank and reservation kota available.From second year ,hostel list is given based in CGPA. Mess food is not good and 3 members per room .2nd , 3rd, 4th year students stay in one hostel and it is seperate for 1st year students.We can stay near by PG hostels or rooms if hostel is not provided.
Admission
Admission process takes place in proper order.First the college institute verifies all documents after josaa councelling and later take the required documents.At last desk we are asked to pay the fees for one semester.we need to get 8000 crl in jee mains to be eligible for the cse baranch in NIT Rapiur.If we have any reservation then fees will be reduced .We can find all details of college at institute official website.
