The curriculum of the university is very good for the students for their personal development and their skills development
The environment of the colleges is very good , u have various opportunities to grow yourself here
The teachers of university are excellent, they have great knowledge in thier feilds

Dislikes

Some guest teachers are very inexperienced...they have no knowledge about their only subject
The non teaching staff is very unsupportive, they must improve in thsi field
Placement can be more good according to the central university

As of now, we have curriculum according to NEP , it has many subjects for ur overall growth . Sometimes you can feel that these extra subjects are unnecessary but they are important for your overall growth. You have value additional course, skill enhancement cousre , etc .. So its very good for everyone

You have campus placement in several colleges , not so high class companies come but decent companies came and recruit the students for a descent packages. A very few students get placed here because you have to do masters also for big placement. My plans is of government exams , I'm preparing for them

Fees is very very low according to the knowledge you get here . But u live in delhi so you may face other expenses but tution fees is very low ... Yes there are many scholarship programmes , u have to eligible for them and you can get the scholarship Yes there is campus placement according to your capabilities and talent you have ..

Campus Life

Campus is excellent in every college. We have several fests .. U can enjoy evry moment of your college life with your friends. They have several societies for your overall improvement in all the fields.. U can enjoy your life here

Admission

Eligibility of the course: Completed +2 or 12th from a recognised board , for example CBSE , ICSE OR STATE BOARDS HOW TO APPLY: they conducted an exam CUET you have to clear that exam and then according to your college preferences , you have been allotted a college. Reservation: Yes there is reservation , you can check on their website, as i am from general category i had no reservations Difficulty level: Its a moderate kind of exam , id u studied well in 12th u can easily clear the exam of cuet Areas of improvement: Surely will be conduct of exam because their exams held for a long time they can adjust the subjects and take exam is short time period

Likes

Affordability in terms of fee structure and degree they don't have huge amount of fee for any particular program.
Market value as its the oldest and known college of delhi university and their new buildings makes it value for money college.

Dislikes

college do not have proper hygiene in terms of classroom and campus

its highly reletive as they claim and mention in their course structure. they overall difficulty level the exam level are also moderate and if its about the areas for improvement they should focus key campus and library area its should be accessable to all

supportive and approachable who explains concepts really well, like pallavi mam and shweta mam
good campus life like cafeteria area, library, and classrooms
active campus life with good opportunities to interact with other students

Dislikes

could get a bit crowded when both the shifts have classes

the whole reason i chose jims kalkaji is beacuse of placements it is popular for placements it offers multiple placements after your 3rd or 4th year of specializtion different multiple companies come here to pick students.

I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

I got Motilal Nehru College South Campus in first allotment but couldn't get into it as I missed there fees payment window so I had to pay application fees again and end up in Shyam Lal college worried about not getting into other college as I missed the previous windows .
