Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum that is taught can be of much greater help for those who are preparing for civil services (both central and state). The professors are of greater experience and they are equally interactive in all the matters relating to the university's activities. The teachings are in the way that would enhance one's ability to understand and think critically about certain things. It also impulses the reasoning ability among students.
Internships Opportunities
I'm not sure about the internships but various courses are provided to the students from which they can choose their own and develop their skills and knowledge in various fields. There are welfare activities conducted in the university and also there are associations to undertake these such as centre for social action and more
Placement Experience
The students are elgible to sit in the placements during the final year only if there have no backlogs in the previous semesters The highest package ranges from 8LPA to 10LPA and the average package ranges between 3LPA TO 5LPA BA students get lots of jobs in the role of researchers from various companies ( includes both major and startups)
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is fixed throughout the years there will be no increase or decrease. My education cost for three years was around 1.5 Lakh (50000*3) The placements will start during the final year Max pay - 10 lakhs Min pay - 3 lakhs
Campus Life
Each department has its own fest happening throughout the year. Christ Unive Is known for its extracurricular acrivities. Each department has an separate association which has various clubs to join. My department's association has clubs like dance, music, electoral literacy, art, lieterary, debate and more Sports are largely encouraged in each department, various sports events are conducted. Sports include cricket, volleyball, kabbadi, handball, basketball and football
Admission
One can apply for admission directly from the University's website. It will be open around march every year and will be closed by may. Application fees will be ?5000. After filling an application you should upload the required documents. When I applied there was no written examination rather the entrance exam was an interview. You will be give date and time of your interview. Every year there will be odd semester examination between the end of November and the start of December and the even semester examination will take place between the end of april and the beginning of may ( it can also take place in the 2nd week of May). Christ University examinations are always based on the understanding of the subject rather than being factual. The difficulty level can be measured as 7/10. As far as the admission is concerned, the basic and general understanding about the concepts in the chosen course and subject is more than enough.
