Course Curriculum Overview
There are amazing research initiatives from the college. One among us was a satellite sent by our college along with 104 satellites from the world. The course I took was great. College focus mostly on theoretical knowledge rather than practical that's were the college is lagging. It's up to us to decide what we want to do. If we take a step towards that faculty provide the help they could
Internships Opportunities
College provides a semester abroad program in universities abroad for deserving students. The college doesn't provide you any sort of internship. It's up to the students to find one.
Placement Experience
The placements are good. About 90 percent of the placement registered students get placed. Major companies that recruit students are Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, Accenture, etc. The average package is 3.5L
College Events
Many tech events, the workshop takes place around the year. It's well organized. Unlike most colleges around, this university has many clubs for science, math, robotics, literature, innovation to protect the interests of the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's relatively cheaper compared to most of the top private universities. The fee is around 2.5L-3L pa since the fee structure changes every year
Fees and Financial Aid
College does provide scholarships for students in need and economically backward students. It also provides scholarships for toppers of each semester. College also provides all assistance in getting a loan from a bank.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel here is not good as it sounds. There aren't single rooms so, a group of 5 or 6 boys has to share their rooms. The only thing students don't have to worry is about the food. Food is provided on time. There's no compromise for that matter. For the academic year, 2017-18 hostel fee is around 60k. Well, it's preferred not to stay in a hostel since we don't get to go outside as we wish. Fax needs to be provided every time we step out
Alumni/Alumna
Some of the top heads of major recruiters of notable companies are from our college and did some major contributions to the college. Timely seminars and briefing are done by the alumni
Faculty
The amount of Ph.D. scholars are more than the staff with a doctorate say in my department it's in the ratio of 8:20. Some staffs are great in teaching even if they've done only their MSc. Staffs are mostly interactive. They clear all the doubts put up by students . On the basis of the standard of teaching 7/10 would be given
